Gintoki Pov:
"Arghh.. We have no jobs lately.. Im boredd" i groaned in annoyance.
"Gin San you were the one who rejected them!" Shinpachi scolded, there was a knock of the door, he opened the door.
"Shinpachi who is it?" I asked from the couch. "Gin San its Hijikata San"
'Mayora? Whats he doing here?'
I got up and walked to the door, i saw Mayora holding.. Money?
"Oi Yorozuya come on. Lets go on a date"
'Huh? Eh? Ehhhh!? Whats this!? He came in and started saying that we're gonna go on a date!?'
I was about to go back while Shinpachi was there, dead silence.
He grabbed my hand and we started walking.
"Hey! Why all of the sudden?"
"Yorozuya, i think we should prank the kids, if you agree I'll pay you 1 million yen"
'One Million!?!?!? WHATT!? IM AGREEING I CAN GET SO MANY PARFAITS AND STUFF'
I thought for a moment. If i prank Sadist, Kagura, Shinpachi wouldn't they be surprised that they would start beating us two up for not telling them?
Ma.. Ma.. I will try this for a week, i grinned.
"Im in"
I walk up a bit faster to be beside him.
'What do couples do on a first date? Kiss? Wait no thats at the end.. Oh yeah!'
I grabbed Mayora's hand and started going to the arcade, seemed like he was fine with this.
It has been years since i went to the arcade im usually at pachinko
Mayora held my hand and started walking to the counter
"Oh my, you gentlemen are dating? How cute! You may play as much as you want free of charge!"
The counter hag was looking at Mayora it made me jealous so i peck him on his forehead. He looked at me blushing.
'That's what the boyfriend does when someone is looking at their girl right? So does girls i Think'
"Lets go" we held hands and went near a claw machine. Mayora glanced at the machine
"What should we play first?" i asked while smiling
"A claw machine! I want something from there but. You cannot see! You play whatever you want for now"
'This guy... If you wanna go on a date you don't push your date away.. Though I've never been on a actual one'
I nodded and went to those basketball machine thingy. I put a coin in i was about to shoot when i felt a tap on my shoulder
I didn't look but instead shot the balls to the hoop. The time was about run out so i answered to the tap.
"Yes?"
The time ran out i had a lot of tickets coming.. 105 to be exact. I look over to see a girl around 16
"Uhm can i have your numbe-" She was about to ask when i felt someone kissing me on the cheek. It was Mayora.
"No. He doesn't want to give his number." Mayora said strictly, the girl looked terrified and ran off
'Cool he's playing the role of protective boyfriend'
"So? What did you get from the claw machine?" i questioned as i picked up the tickets. I look at him with his hand's behind his back.
He held out his hands and there was a parfait voucher it was a month of free parfaits
My eyes widened and then turned back to normal i smiled
"Thanks.. Babe"
I blushed a little at saying that, he did as well. I heard whispers at the back.. Shinpachi, Kagura and Sadist is here, spying
I go next to Hijikata and whispered to his ear
"They're here and they are spying. Just like Sadist and Kagura's date. All is going well" i smirked, he grinned. We knew they were believing us and we liked that
"What should we do next Hijikata?" i asked
"Air hockey?" he pointed to it. "Woah i haven't played that in a long time! Lets do it" i pulled him with me to the machine
"Ready? Start!"
The game started i grinned i knew this was gonna be eas- Hijikata goal first
'Damn it i was off guard!'
Our intense game begun. Both of us scored one by one. A crowd begun to form.
"Oi oi Hijikata you seem to look tired. Give up I'll win" i said
"Your the one who looks the most tired Gintoki" He smirked, i stuck my tongue out then i looked to the side with the corner of my eyes. The three kids were actually there
"Game over side blue wins"
Hijikata won? Damn it i was off guard again!
"Damn it" i sighed
"Wanna go get parfaits?" Hijikata asked
'I thought he doesn't like sweets? Oh well'
"Sure but let me buy something with the tickets, wait for me outside!" i ran to the counter with the bucket of tickets.
"What can i get for you young man~" the counter hag tried to flirt? Ew.
"Ahahaha! Sorry but I'm 27" i scratched the back of my head and laughed.
(The author of Gintama never really told Gintoki's age he just said late twenties but i think its 27)
"Its okay i like older men. How about you dump your boyfriend and come with me instead" She looks older, i got pissed she told me to dump Hijikata. Even though we aren't dating I'm still pissed at that. I was about to cuss when i felt someone hugging from the back.
"Hey Hag try to find someone your age. This man is mine" I turn back to see Hijikata's head on my shoulder looking coldly at the hag.
'He's hot. Wait no wtf!? This is just a prank date! I don't like Hijikata! Maybe'
I patted his head, his hair was smooth and soft. I smiled "Didn't i tell you to wait outside?"
"Hmpf i just came to check" he huffed, i laughed.
"Go back outside Hijikata" i pouted
"Okay okay~" He walked off
"Okay hag can i get that Mayo and Inu plushie?" i pointed, i know Hijikata likes mayo and the dog looks like Sadaharu
"H-Here you go. Come a-again!" She's clearly terrified
I ran outside
"Hijikataaa Kunn!" i hid the plushys behind me
"Yes?"
"Look! I know you love mayonnaise so I'll keep the mayo one to remind myself of you and you keep the dog one to remind you of me even though it looks like Sadaharu" i chuckled
He looked in awe, i waved my hand in front of his face which worked. He blushed a little and took the dog
"I'll treasure it, anyway lets get going"
He pulled my hand again, i just smiled and followed.
'What a nice day i really wished it never ended'
