"This is illegal you know" I grumbled, crossing my arms, Alice turned to me from the passenger's seat

"Stealing is illegal as well, plus we only want to confirm something" she said, then turned to the guy

They seem to be having a silent conversation with each other, I turn to look at the window instead

I subconsciously reach for my necklace, but it wasn't there then I remembered I gave it to Lily, that necklace was something very important to me

But I trust Lily, since I practically raised her the first time she walked into the orphanage's door

The necklace had the letter 'V' in it, the letter was decorated with beautiful rubies, the letter wasn't too big but it wasn't small either

I've always thought that was the first letter of my last name, other than the necklace a letter came with it

It only said

~Delilah~

You'll see them once again

It was a weird letter to be honest, Who am I going to see again? Is it my parents?

A ring came with it as well, it was a gold band, encraved with the letters A.M.C in the inside and 'Il nostro amore sarà eterno' on the outside, I didn't know what it meant but I suspected it to be italian

I wear the ring on my left ring finger, because that's the only place it fits

I've also been having weird dreams, but they don't feel like dreams, they feel like memories

But the worst one was when I was running away from something or someone, I wasn't really sure if that's me cause the faces we're a blur

But I still remember a man with a sadistic smile, I felt a shiver in my bones

But that doesn't matter now because I stopped having those dreams when I turned sixteen

"We're here"

I looked out the window, there was a beautiful house infront of us, I got out the car, my backpack still hanging from my shoulder

I followed Alice and the guy, I walked into the house, it was pretty big

"Your staying here until Carlisle and the others get here" Alice said

"Who's Carlisle?"

"Our father" the guy responded, "I'm sorry but I never got your name"

"My apologies ma'am, My name is Jasper Hale"he bowed, I was amazed from the politeness

"How long will I be staying?" I asked, "Well given that the others are coming here from another country, I'd say a week"

I looked at Alice with my eyebrow raised, "Why a week? I know for a fact that travelling by air won't last longer than 24 hours"

"Oh yes, of course but we have questions and it might take more than a day for it to be answered" I nodded at her

I looked around their house, it was very beautiful and modern, I didn't see the way we went but I know it was further away from the city
