Caius carried me home this time and when we walked in everyone except for Aro, Lily, Renesmee, Bella and Edward were lounging in the living room

I assumed Renesmee and her parents had gone back to their own home but where could Aro and Lily be?

"Have you seen Aro and Lily?" I asked no one in particular, they all nodded towards the kitchen and only then I heard the rustling of pans and the pitter patter of who I assumed was Lily's feet

Caius and Marcus followed close behind me when I made a move towards the kitchen

There I was met with the sight of pure chaos

Aro and Lily were covered with flour, eggs and sprinkles from head to toe. Various of different kinds of bowls were scattered everywhere around the counter filled with a colorful substance

I cleared my throat to gain their attention, which I knew succeeded when they turned their head towards me like a deer caught in headlights

"What are you doing?" I chortled, they lloked at each other and began talking simultaneously "Hey!"

They stopped and stared, "One at a time please"

"We we're trying to bake some cupcakes because I saw a really good recipe on the internet" Lily says

"And I of course offered my help for she was mixing glitters and glue I to the batter" Aro said next

"It says to put glue and glitter in the recipe" Lily argued with him, Aro glared at her in a scolding way "The 'recipe' you were following wasn't even for eating it was a replica made for display" he argued back putting air quotes on 'recipe'

"How would you know you don't even eat" she fired back, I sighed as they argued back and forth

Caius and Marcus laughed quietly behind me, I glared at them "Are you going to help me stop this or what?" I placed my hand on my hip

"No, I think this is quite entertaining" Marcus laughed "Marcus your supposed to be the good influence" I whined

Then the timer suddenly went off, "Its done" Lily clapped

Aro opened the oven and took out the cupcakes, not even bothering to put on some mittens

The cupcakes looked decent, there was glitter and sprinkles decorating it and a white substance oozing out the top

Lily took one and have them to me "Try it"

I looked at the cupcake and scrunched my nose "Uh sure" I took the cupcake from her hand and took the smallest bite out of it

I chewed and chewed and tried to hide my disgust for it, I tried to swallow it, no longer wanting it inside my mouth

Caius laughed "If you don't like it spit it out, we don't want you to get food poisoning now do we?"

Marcus handed me a tissue and I immediately spit it out, "See she doesn't like your baking" Lily said, facing Aro

"My baking, that was yours" he put his hands up, he took another cupcake this time with only sprinkles but it looked a little burnt

"Try this one mi amore" he said handing me the cupcake, I took it then I bite into it

When it touched my tongue I immediately spit it out. Caius and Lily laughed so hard they almost fell over

Marcus handed me a glass of water and I immediately downed it handing him the empty glass back

"She spit yours faster than mine" Lily stuck her tongue out at Aro

"Perhaps you two should just leave the cooking and baking to Caius" Marcus spoke up

"I still say I win" Lily shrugged, Aro looked at her with an incredulous look "And why is that?"

"Because she actually tried to chew mine, yours she just spit out" she smirked "And since I win, you must clean the kitchen" she ordered then skipped away followed by Marcus and Caius

Aro glared at the place she once stood "She's lucky I love her like a daughter or else she would've been dead by now" he grumbled, taking the bowls and spatulas and dumping them on the sink

I lightly slapped his arm for saying that "I can help you" I offered

"No need mi amore just your presence is enough, I can do this by myself" he puffed out his chest and used his speed to clean the counter then he moved on to washing the dishes

I held out my hand, he stared at it confused "Try it" I simply said

"But it does not work on you" he says, "I figured out how to undo it" I said, "I do not want to invade your personal space" he said

"Your not if I'm giving you consent, I trust you" I said, he stopped washing the dishes and cleaned his hand then he cupped my hand outstretched towards him

He breathed in and closed his eyes then he opened them and let go of my hand, going back to washing the dishes "Thank you" he says

"No problem, I have nothing to hide"

"So they have told you that we plan on going back to Volterra after your recovery" he started, "Yes and I'm sure you saw that I agreed" he nodded

"I cannot wait to get back" he said, "Me too"

This is really short, it's just a filler chapter. I'm honestly running out of ideas
