Jane and Alec watched from afar as Delilah and Lily bonded, they were jealous of Lily because they wanted that kind of relationship with Delilah too

She was the only one who showed them love and care up until she died but now that she's alive they felt awkward and didn't want to overwhelm her so they kept their distance

But since she got her memories back they didn't know whether they should approach her now or keep their distance still

So they watched from afar as the two bonded, they wished to rekindle their relationship from before

Demetri and Felix appeared from behind them "Jane, Master Aro to see you" Jane only gave a nod and sped off

Aro patiently waited for his prodigy, Marcus calmly sat down while Caius paced back and forth

"Will you stop that?" Aro snapped, Caius sharply turned to Aro and snarled "How are you not troubled brother? We know they are more cunning that we give them credit for, what if they cause trouble between us and Delilah?" he nearly screamed but Aro dismissed it

"I'm sure they will be dealt with properly"

Caius scoffed "Just like Richard?" Aro glared at Caius

"Demetri will find him, it's just a matter of time" Aro says, "It doesn't feel right to lie to our mate" Marcus states

"We are doing this for her own safety Marcus, once she is within the castle walls she will be safe, no harm shall come to her" Aro again dismissed it though he can't help but feel something is wrong

"We should've killed him and his accomplice" Caius growled, "Do you not think I wished for the same thing?" Aro snapped

"How should we know that he had another witch?"

Marcus sighed "But we should've known that he was smarter than we anticipated, now he is running free in this planet ready to strike any moment and we know not of when and where"

Aro was about to reply but a knock interrupted him and Jane came in "Ah, there you are"

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting Master" Jane bow, Aro waved his hand dismissively "I will only ask for you to do a simple task"

Jane waited for him to continue "You must contact Renata, Afton, Santiago, Corin and Chelsea to dispose of the former queens"

Jane nodded and contacted said guards to inform them of their task

Demetri, Alec and Felix waited for Jane to return "How is your task going?" Alec said, cutting off the silence between them

They stood behind tress watching over their Mistress and the child, Demetri sighed "No good, his scent is basically non-existant"

"We musn't let him out of our grasp again" Felix stated, "Do you i don't know that?" Demetri growled

"No fighting, it won't help us find him any sooner" Alec cooly said

"Sorry, I'm just frustrated no one has ever escaped me before" Demetri groaned and pulled at the sides of his hair, clearly showing how stressed he was

Alec and Felix patted his shoulders "Don't worry Demetri, he wouldn't have escaped you if he didn't have a witch on his side" Felix comforted his friend

"I don't understand how could witches do his bidding when they could easily overpower him"

Alec hummed "He threatens them or bribes them"

Felix suddenly let out a small chuckle, Alec and Demetri looked at him, puzzled

Felix pointed at their queen and princess "They have fallen asleep" he chortled

Alec and Demetri turned their piercing gazes to see that they were indeed asleep "Do we carry them back?" Alec asked no one in particular

"Yes of course, why would they sleep there that's so unsanitary" Demetri freaked

They went over to them, Felix carried their soon-to-be queen while Alec carried Lily. Demetri kept as a lookout incase anybody decides to sneak up on them

Jane appeared Infront of them and looked down on the sleeping royals on their arms "Come, we must walk not run for it might wake them" she gestured for them to continue on and turned around so she would be leading them

When they got home they passed the sleeping beauties to Aro and Marcus, Marcus tucked in Delilah and kissed her forehead before exiting her room

Aro kissed Lily's hair and tucked her in, whispering and small 'good night' to her

Edward sighed as he saw Delilah sleeping, he wanted to talk to her about something unusual happening with her

He wanted her to corroborate what he saw but alas it must wait for another time for she must rest

"Brother, have you fixed everything?" Caius asked

"Who do you think I am, Brother?" Aro scoffed

"We will be ready to depart and journey back to Italy, Carlisle says there's not much he can do anymore for her magic did most of the healing, but without our mate's and Lily's consent we cannot leave just yet" he continued

"We shall inform them tomorrow that we are ready to leave and are just waiting for their signal" Marcus says not taking his eyes of his book
