From the corner of my eye I saw Edward give me a weird look, what if he knows?

Ever since I let down my barrier for Aro, Edward could read my mind again. I would put my barrier back up but it requires maximum concentration to keep it up and that would drain me

I suspect that someone else placed a barrier in my head for I didn't know I even had magic before

"Momma?" Lily called from beside me, I snapped out of my thoughts and turn to look at her

"Yes?"

"Will you walk with me?"

"Of course, honey" I closed my book and placed it on the coffee table, I took her hand and guided her to the door

Before we could step out the door a voice interrupts "Where are you going?"

I turn to look at Marcus, "We were just going for a walk, we'll be back in a minute" he looked unsure

"Are you certain this is a good idea mia dolce?" he says, his face contorted in alarm "Perhaps it's best if I come with"

I held my hand up to stop him "Marcus we'll be fine, I want tk spend some time with my daughter. Alone" I glance at Lily to see her smiling brightly at me. I gave her a smile back

Marcus sighed in disappointment "Will you atleast allow me to send the guards to accompany you from afar?" he held a twinge of hope in his eyes

I sighed and allowed it "But only if they dotn disturb us" I say as sternly as I could "Of course mia dolce" he moved forwards

"Be safe" he whispered once he was Infront of us, he leaned in and hesitated but then kissed my hairline

His lips lingered for a bit then he pulled away then he crouched down to face Lily

"You too little warrior take care of momma for me" he says, ruffling her hair

Lily giggled "I am a warrior princess" she says puffing out her chest

Marcus gave a low chuckle which gave me butterflies, "Of course you are" he kissed her hairline before he stood up straight

"Go on now, I would not want to stop you any longer" he ushered us away

I sighed quietly to prevent Lily from hearing but I doubt she would for she was ahead of me skipping away

"Lily where are we going?" I ask, "To the meadow momma" she shouted over her shoulder, sparing me a quick glance.

Minutes later we arrived at the meadow she talked about, it was aesthetically pleasing

We walked hand in hand through the meadow, "Are we going to Italy momma?" I looked down at her and nodded

"Do you wish to come?" I asked, "Of course momma, I wouldn't want to leave you although I would miss Renesmee" she frowned a bit at the end

"Look baby, I'm no forcing you to come with me. I'm sure the Cullens would be honored to have you with them" I say

"I know but as I said before, I don't want to leave you so I'm coming with you" she said smiling, I smiled and sat down Lily following suit

I wanted to ask her a question but I was afraid of her reaction, she seemed to notice this and sighed "Momma, I said yes to papa when he asked me to be a vampire" she said

My brows raised "When was this?"

"Right after you came home, papa told me the situation I'm in and I said yes besides I have a few more years before I turn anyway" she said like it was nothing

"Are you sure about this?" she nodded and smiled

She looked down at her necklace and unclasped it "Here, you should have this back" she held my Volturi crest in her hand and extended it to me

I shook my head and pushed it back "It's yours now, your practically part of the Volturi now" I say

"But aren't you apart of the Volturi too? Where's your crest?" she asks as I turned her and clasped the necklace around her neck

She turned around again to face me "I don't know but that's not something to worry about" I dismissed it

"Who told you about your turning anyway?" I asked

"All of them came to me when you were sleeping and told me about it, they said something about not wanting to keep me in the dark" she answered

I nodded and laid down, Lily copied my actions and laid her head down on my stomach

We watched as the sun went down and when I looked back at Lily she was sleeping with her head rested on my stomach

I looked back at the sky and sighed
