"It's always the same shit with you!" Axl yelled once they got backstage, drawing looks from the crew and a few groupies.
"Axl, it was one little note. Barely anyone noticed." Duff sighed, as they headed tk their dressing room.
Axl glared at Duff, shoving the door open as they filed into the room. "Don't take up for him! If he wasn't doin' fucking smack every goddamn second, he wouldn't have fucked up!"
The man bearing the most of Axl's wrath, Slash, stayed quiet. He knew better than to test Axl's anger. But the things Axl said still hurt like a bitch.
"Axl...come on, quit it, man. You know he didn't mean it and he barely ever messes up. Cut some slack." Izzy sighed, packing up his guitar and giving the redhead a look, silently telling him that he had crossed a line.
Izzy slung his guitar case over one shoulder, over his leather jacket with the deep pockets.
No one was really sure where he went after gigs, but they weren't really worried cause he always came back in one piece and ready to just fuck shit up.
Axl scoffed at the raven-haired man. "And you're just gonna let him off? Knowing he fucked up tonight's show?"
"Let it go, Axl. You know he didn't purposely do it. The fans have probably already forgotten anyway. Chill." Steven shook his head.
"Chill?!" Axl scoffed, looking Steven up and down like he was some trash that didn't deserve any say in this conversation. "You're no better than him, Steven." Axl hissed, shoving past the blonde and storming out.
Steven swallowed self-consciously. "I never said I was." He muttered.
Slash hid behind his hair, slowly putting away his guitar.
Duff didn't know what to do. It was silent as he placed a hand on Slash's shoulder. "Slash, he—"
Slash violently shrugged Duff's hand off and slung the strap of his guitar case over his shoulder before quickly leaving, avoiding eye contact from the others.
Steven gently bumped his hip against Duff's. "He's okay. Just give him a some time." He gave Duff a sympathetic smile.
Duff shook his head, smoldering anger burning deep in his gut as he turned to Izzy with balled fists. "Iz, talk to your best friend before I do. And I promise that it won't be pretty when I do."
