"JESSIEEE!!!"
Jessie ran into my room, panicking.
"What is it? First aid kit or ambulance?" I rolled my eyes.
"No! I can't find my Captain Firestorm graphic novel!" I replied desperately. "I want to take it to camp." Jessie looked at me, exasperated.
"Luke. You can't take a comic book to a summer camp. How about you focus on packing your toothbrush or soap or something?" I gave her a look and burst out laughing.
"Yeah. Right. And it's a graphic novel, not a comic." Jessie leaves, shaking her head.
As I ran around my room, packing, I felt super hyped. It was my first summer at camp. Mom and dad signed us up at their old camp, Camp Kikiwaka. Strange name, I know, but I was sure it would be the best summer ever. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
