The next few days of school were uneventful. It was still the first week of school, so things were still going slow in the classroom and in club activities. Touma's daily routine was basically the same every day. He would wake up, get ready, and walk to school with his cousin every day at roughly the same time. Although most people would get upset doing the same thing every day, Touma enjoyed it. He appreciated the stability he had now that deeply contrasted his childhood.

Another daily occurrence at Ouran would be when Tamaki asks Touma to join the Host Club. Most of the time when the subject was brought up, Touma wouldn't let Tamaki go into too much detail. He rarely listens to the over-excited blond when he talks about the host club anyway.

Tamaki often said something along the lines of: "You're already popular among Machi's friends. You'd be popular at the Host club too!"

Touma would respond by saying something like: "I'm already part of the baseball club, so I don't need to join another one."

Haruhi and Touma sat beside each other in the courtyard. They always sat together, but now and then, Kasanoda or Fumiya and her friends would join them. "Have you made any friends, Haruhi?" Touma asked with a small smile on his face. One of his hands held a pair of chopsticks, and the other played with the long end of his sleeve.

"Yeah? Fumiya and the rest of the girls are my friends," Haruhi hummed lightly. Touma chuckled and glanced between her food and him. "Do you have a girlfriend, Touma?"

"No. Why would I need a girlfriend?" Touma hummed somewhat amused but disgusted at the same time. "What about the people in your class? Aren't you friends with any of them?" Touma asked.

"I don't really talk to anyone in there," she answered and shrugged. "I'm not really interested in being their friends. Why does everyone act like we're so different because we're not rich?" Touma nodded then shrugged in response.

"Why do you think I don't hang out with any of the baseball team members? They all act like I'm an alien or something," Touma scoffed. "But, it's fine. We have each other, Haru-chan," He cooed playfully and ruffled her choppy hair.

"Quit it, Touma," Haruhi grumbled and flattened out the pieces of hair that stuck out.

"Hey, Touma-kun, Haruhi," Fumiya spoke. She and Ritsu walked towards the picnic table that the two cousins were sitting at. "Do you mind if we join you?" Fumiya asked while Kasanoda just sat down without asking.

"You can always sit with us, Fumiya-chan," Touma grinned at her. "You don't have to ask, you know. We love spending time with you, don't we Haru?" Fumiya instantly blushed and sat down across of Haruhi.

"Hey, man," Kasanoda greeted quietly. "Don't be surprised when she confesses her feelings to you if you're saying things like that," Kasanoda scoffed and motioned towards Fumiya.
