"What about you, Touma? Are there any boys you have your eye on?" Fumiya giggled

"What about you, Touma? Are there any boys you have your eye on?" Fumiya giggled. I quickly shushed her then looked around to see if anyone heard anything. Thankfully, there was no one else in this part of the hallways.

"Please, Fumiya, don't say it out loud," I whispered. "Anyway, are you sure you want to know about that stuff?" I spoke slowly. I didn't want to trigger anything in her or embarrass her for confessing her feelings to me not too long ago.

"Yeah, Touma. I've gotten over everything already," she replied. "Plus, you just listened to me rant about the guys in my class. It's only fair you do the same."

"Well," I mumbled. I took a deep breath and thought about how much I should tell her. "There is someone, but I don't want to tell you too much, Fumiya. He's not out yet," I continued speaking in my low tone.

"Can't you tell me anything?" she asked. A few other students turned the corner and walked down the hallway ahead of us before I could respond.

"Nope," I answered with a triumphant smile and motioned to the other students. She playfully groaned but dropped the subject anyway.

"Alright. I guess you win this time," she giggled. When we made it to the second-year hall, we said a quick goodbye to each other before parting ways. I turned to the classroom door, but Kyoya stood in the way.

"Touma, I was hoping to talk to you," the megane said with a smile on his face that made me somewhat nervous.

"Yeah? What about?" I asked and dropped my head to the side. He motioned for me to follow him to the other side of the hallway.

"I'm surprised, honestly," he said. "I thought that if you rejected Fumiya when she confessed her feelings to you, that it would ruin your friendship."

"Uh, yeah. I'm glad it didn't," I answered calmly and shrugged. Why would he bring that up all of the sudden? "Where is this going? There's no point in beating around the bush. Just ask whatever you want to know."

"Fine, you're right," Kyoya hummed in agreement. "I know you have some sort of relationship that is more than friendly with Mori-senpai." I froze for a second. My heart began pounding in my chest, and I suddenly became lightheaded. I was filled with panic.

I don't get it. We were so careful... Well, I guess we weren't that careful, but I have no idea what gave us away. Plus, if he noticed us staring at each other or the little flirty comments we'd whisper to each other, why didn't he say anything earlier?

"Wh-what?" I stuttered once I regained my ability to talk. I turned my head away from him and tried to hide the emotions I felt even though I was failing terribly. "How?" I cleared my throat.

"Calm down, Touma. I'm not going to tell anyone else about this. It isn't my place to say anything anyway," Kyoya sighed. "I read the reports that my family's private police force wrote up. They're very detailed."
