On the brink of insanity (On-going)

Prologue

"Congratulations guys, we made it sheesh!" I loudly said with so much joy. "So for the more success to come and achievements to reach. Let's do a toast!" I blurted out, as i stood up while raising my one hand holding a glass with brandy on it.

Nagsitayuan naman ang mga kasama ko mula sa couch and we hit each other glasses. "Kampaii!" We all screamed, before we do a bottoms up shot. I can't keep myself from smiling upon watching my friends, i cannot wish for more as this day arrives. Celebrating success with your loved ones really gives an ecstatic feels. I can say it's really a worthwhile moment, after we'll been through on different hardships and stay still for the long waiting- this day comes. And finally the title under our name is officially valid. I made it! I did it! I'm a chemist now! I can now manage  our own company.

"Yah, Ellie! We are the new licensed drug practitioners of the country, whoaa!" Hazel bang her head pa and quickly fill our glass with Hennessy Cognac. "Come on, another shot everybody! Walang uuwi hanggang hindi nagulong, haha. Cheers...!" At sabay sabay na nga kaming uminom. I miss this kind of bond talaga with them so okay lang siguro kung umuwi akong lango sa alak ngayon.

We talked and do a nonstop drinking session for the past couple of hours, and yet we're still alive at nandito pa nga sa club. Until, kami na lang ni Hazel ang nandito sa table kasi sina Ava at Leah ay hindi na napigilan na pumunta sa dancefloor, kasi nga nag-iinit na ang dalawa na sumayaw at  makabingwit ng lalaki na pwedeng maka one night stand daw nila. Mga gaga talaga!

Habang si Kaylee naman ay kanina pa nagpaalam na pupunta lang sa comfort room pero hindi pa rin nakakabalik hanggang ngayon. Jusme, baka nagsusumuka na nga iyon kasi naman pinipilit talaga uminom kahit mababa lang ang alcohol tolerance, hindi katulad ng sa amin.

"Hazel, dito ka muna kaya? Susundan ko sa CR si Kaylee baka napapaano na iyon. Mahirap na baka mahila na lang iyon kung saan din, ghad!"paalam ko na ikinatango naman ni Hazel.

I briskly walk towards the women's comfort room, and gladly nakita ko agad sa isa sa mga toiletries si Kaylee. Nakaupo na ito sa sahig, nakahawak ang kamay sa toilet kung saan ito nagdudumuwak. Pinuntahan ko agad ito.

I placed my hand on her back and caressed it while she's still vomitting. It took a long minutes at sa wakas  natapos na sa pagsusuka rin si Kaylee. But she really looks pale and dehydrated, i guide her papunta sa sink para makapagwash off ng sarili.

"Are you ok? I think you need to go home, i'll accompany you, Kaylee." I calmly said to her.

But right after she washed her face, she puked again on the sink. Damn, she's totally drunk!

I move closer to her and i open the faucet to let the water rinse off her discharged spew. "Oh Jesus! Your wasted!" I cursed out on disappointment. I never expect kasi na mag-aalaga ako ng lasing ngayon, kaya lang alangang pabayaan ko ang kaibigan ko.

She glance at me while maintaining her balance, this ass! She's acting like  fine. "No need Ellie, I'll stay pa," sabi nito sa akin.

I hold her face up. "Don't try! If gusto mo pang mabuhay after ng gabing ito," mataray kong wika at inalalayan na rin ito sa mga balikat.

Kaylee remove my hand around her shoulders and speak up. "Kaya ko pa, okay? Susuka lang ngayon pero susubo pa ako mamaya," tinakpan pa nito ang sariling bibig tapos ay tumawa pa. I'm speechless sa sinabi nito, kahit kailan talaga hindi na nagbago ang bruhilda. So i hold then her waist.

Lumakad na nga kami pabalik sa table para magpaalam na uuwi na kaming dalawa, kahit ayaw pa ng kasama ko. Wala na rin itong magagawa kapag nahigut ko ito palabas. Kaya lang nakita ko namang nakatingin mula sa malayo si Hazel na para bang may iniispatan. Hindi ko na lamang pinansin pa.

Pinaupo ko na si Kaylee sa couch at binigyan ng glass of water para naman mahimasmasan ito kahit papaano. Nang bigla naman akong tinawag ni Hazel.

"Psst, Ellie!" tawag nito.

"Why?"

"Ayokong sabihin ito, kasi baka masaktan ka na naman, pero mukhang dapat na ipaalam ko sa iyo." I raised my brows out of confusement sa sinabi nito. Hazel bit his lower lip.

I stand up. "So ano nga? Spill it!" I ordered as i sounded a little pissed off.

Tumuro naman ang daliri nito sa kung saan kaya tinignan ko kung saang direksyon iyon nakapointed out at kamuntik na akong matumba ng makita kung sino ang taong iyon, buti na lang at napahawak ako sa gilid ng table.

"Ellie, nandito si-- Sean," Hazel startled.

I sighed heavily to calmed myself. Why the fuck this guy has a face to go back again? Putek, hindi ko alam kung ano ba dapat maramdaman ko! Galit? Saya? Lungkot? Takot? Inis? Ewan, halo halong emosyon na talaga na para bang nagpapasikip sa dibdib ko ngayon.

Then, i only found myself walking towards him. Alam kong hindi tama pero gusto kong ipakita sa kanya kung ano ako ngayon. Ghad, Ellie!

Nakita ko naman na agad siyang napalingon rin sa akin ng makarating ako sa harapan niya. I do to took a glance on him from head to toe, he got a clean cut haircut with a dash of blonde which suits well his matured face, the way he dressed changed too. How dare him to exposed his chest at this place wherein clingy girls are around? He looks so manly and this makes him a freaking hotter guy. Brace yourself Ellie, phew!

"Are you done on staring me, Ellie?" I'm about to panicked when i heard his baritone voice.

I blinked twice and shake my head before i faced him. "Why the hell are you doing on this club?"

He drink his beer, and crossed his arms right after. "Am i not permitted to go with this place? Or you own this club? I'll never know, unless you answer me,"he mocked and act so civil, so i scoffed of disbelief.

"I never thought that you would be this rude just like now." I said firmly.

He just shrugged off his shoulders. "Is that so? Fine, i think you don't want my existence here so i better to go," he stand up and turn his back on me like he's about starting to walk.

I took a deep breath. "So is this your specialty? Leaving, if you feel uneasy, psh!" I just hissed then. "Such a coward asshole!" I murmured.

I notice that Sean stop from walking and gave me a gaze using his tantalizing eyes. He remain silent for few seconds. And i'm here waiting for his answer.

He move closer to my position, until there's only a few inches away between us. "Is that what you think of, Ellie? I never left you! I just let you go to be free and for your own betterment."

I am stiffed. Did i heard it right? Damn for Pete's sake! Why does it sounded that he really mean it?
