MICHAEL CLIFFORD

"I can't believe it," Calum sipped on his beer, all four of us were wearing our best suits, eyeing the bridemaids, "She's getting married."

"She's getting married to that bastard." Luke shook his head, "At least I got a taste of her before she married him."

"I'm not going to clap when they kiss." Ashton pouted, his hair tied up in to a small pony tail, he looked like he had officially adapted the French lifestyle.

I sighed as I watch my old friends argue, "Well, too bad, she's marrying another man."

They silenced, we checked our time and it was about time to go to where the ceremony was held, suddenly, Calum broke the silence with a cheeky smile, "Five bucks to whoever trips the groom."

When I think back throughout the years and the only memory that is clear, brings out from me a gentle wistful tear.

And in my dreams you appear, you soothed away my fears, and promised me that somehow, someday, you'll be near.

When I think back throughout the years, out of the window I would stare, and in my mind, I see you standing there, I can feel your tender loving care, but what reminds me most, is your flair.

My heart wants me to return back to those years, back to those days we sat in class, you smiled down to me by my side, when we're told to find team mates, we'd meet eye to eye, it's meant to be, how could have I denied?

All that I once missed out with you, all that I've once been through with you, I want you to know, that in my heart it stays true. It will stay deep inside of me, and maybe one day I will see, memories, every detail, reoccuring.

All that I once missed out with you, all that I've once been through with you, I wish I had known, what you had done for me and you.

Back to that night on the tracks, and when you swore you guarantee, no matter where you'll take me, to a place where we, forever be free.

We sat on the benches, all of our heads turned as she walked down the aisle, Alyssa's hair was tied up, freckles on her shoulder and she was wearing a long white gown, underneath the ballroom light, she looked like an angel in disguise of human form.

She looked beautiful.

You know, when you like someone very much, from the bottom of your heart, you'll assume you'll never congratulate them, but when you see her standing in front of him, you'll know, from the bottom of your heart, you wish she was happy.

When you really really really like a girl, and there is someone to proetct her, to love her more than you can ever do, you'll wish her happiness for real, and forever.

I like the me who liked you too, Alyssa.

No matter how tough boys try to act on the outside, no matter how smart they are, or how they speak with out using their brains first, letting the girls think he's not considerate. But under all of these, the boys will always save a spot in their weak, coward, and clumsy heart for the girls they truly love.

Before I left, with a slight tear in my eyes, I left an envelope on the desk, along with the other wedding gifts.

Congratulations, here's to teenage memories.
