Tobio wakes up at 5am, like he always did, but instead of a volleyball next to his head, there is something orange and fluffy in his view.

Opening and closing his eyes a couple of times, he reaches over and touches the fluff...it's so soft.

Tobio notices that Shoyo had somehow managed to move all the way over to his futon in the middle of the night and was now taking up half of his pillow.

Yesterday had been exhausting, so it was no surprise the smaller boy was still sound asleep. Not only had they played back to back games with schools that were better than them, but yet again, he was unsuccessful in finding his soulmate.

For a brief moment Tobio had wished that his partner could be it. Shoyo was an amazing person, on and off the court. His soulmate would undoubtedly be just as amazing.

Although the more Tobio wondered what kind of soulmate Shoyo had, the sicker his stomach felt. He left Shoyo yesterday to play with Kenma and took a shower by himself. He wanted time to sort out his new thoughts.

Shoyo had shown up at the end of his shower, almost colliding with Tobio as he stepped out of the locker room. Shoyo was red faced and slightly disappointed, but when he asked the smaller boy if anything was wrong, he giggled and said he was fine.

Tobio waited and watch his partner fall asleep when he returned to their room, hoping that the little ball of sunshine in front of him would feel better in the morning. He wanted them both to be happy, even if it wasn't with eachother.

The smaller boy was giggling in his sleep, Tobio couldn't help but smile as he watched his partner, his hand fingered in his hair.

"Hehehe...Tobio, that tickles..."

What? Tobio froze. Was he awake? How else would he know that I'm playing with his hair...shit...

"Sorry Sho..." Tobio whispers, drawing his hand back.

The orange haired Spiker rolls closer, still smiling. "Toss to me..." He starts snoring.

He's still asleep, Tobio can't help but laugh, he quickly covers his mouth as he see's Shoyo's eyes open wide.

"...good morning..." Tobio whispers.

"Morning..." Shoyo smiles. "Were you just giggling?"

"What? No..." Tobio frowns. "Shut up..." he gently pushes Shoyo's forehead. "You were talking in your sleep, it was funny."

"Really?" Shoyo blushes. "Did I say anything...embarrassing?"

"Um..." Tobio blushes.

"You said Tobio, that tickles..."

The boys look up to see Noya leaning over both of their heads. Tobio can feel his face light up, he glances over at Shoyo...holy shit...he's redder than his hair!

Shoyo's eyes meet Tobio's. "Did I...did I really say that?" He whispers, covering his mouth with his hand.

"Um...yeah..." Tobio confirms.

Ehhhh... what is wrong with me? Shoyo covers his mouth with both of his hands now. I can't believe I embarrassed myself, I'm just glad he didn't get mad at me.

"Stop flirting, it's time to get up," Suga laughs, standing next to Noya.

"We weren't..." they both say at the same time looking up at Suga.

"Hahaha, you're right," Noya laughs, walking away with Suga. "Let's get food!"

"That was so embarrassing," Shoyo tries to smile at Tobio. "I'm sorry, Tobio."

"It's fine Dumbass," Tobio laughs, standing up. "I'll race you to breakfast..."

"You're on," Shoyo grins, bouncing up, taking a head start.

"That was very sneaky of you...your Majesty," Tsukishima stays seated on his futon, as the smaller boy runs out of their shared room, Tobio freezes and stares at Tsukishima.

Shit...he saw me? Tobio's eyes widen as he stares daggers at the tall middle blocker sitting on the ground.

"Don't worry...I won't say anything, if you don't want me to," Tsukishima smiles up. "But...why not just confirm it and put us all out of your misery."

"Confirm what?" Tobio grumbles.

"God, you really are dumb sometimes," Tsukishima laughs, straightening his glasses on his face. "You should kiss the shrimp."

"Eh...why would I..."

"It's the quickest way to know if he's your soulmate," Tsukishima felt Tadashi stir against his side, he placed his hand over his boyfriend's fluffy hair. He looked up at a flushed Tobio, oh man...he's so easy to tease.

"Unless you're too afraid to do it..." Tsukishima's gaze watched as his face turnef angry, he couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm not afraid!" Tobio hissed, clutching his hands into fists. "It's just...what if I'm wrong...what if he's not..."

"What if he is," Tsukishima says, this time no hidden amusement behind his words. "It's worth the risk."

"Is that what happened for you and Tadashi?" Tobio asks, his temper calming down.

"Something like that," Tsukishima smiles down at the green haired boy next to him. "He's a lot braver than he looks and he reminds me that I'm not always right.  He's amazing."

"Alright," Tobio says, drawing Tsukishima's attention back to him. "I'll do it."

"Good luck," Tsukishima says. "Your partner is even more dense than you are. You might have to literally throw a volleyball at his face for him to get it." He laughs, noticing a small smiles across the setters face.

"Probably, " Tobio says. "Thanks bean pole." He waves goodbye and chases off after his partner.

"What a moron," Tsukishima laughs.

"Sorry Tuskki..." Tadashi whispers in his sleep.

"Not you," Tsukishima smiles, leaning down to kiss Tadashi's hair.
