3. Back home

Sarada opened the door to the Hokage's office to submit her report, finding that Lord seventh was sleeping. His head hung on his chair and had his saliva dripped from his mouth

She didn't say anything ang walk in, after dropping her report to the Hokage's desk. The door of the office open

"Oi! Naruto! There's no time for you to be sleeping!" Shikamaru shouted, Naruto quickly jump out of shock

His eyes are half close and scanning his office, "Huh? where am I?" He ask so foolishly

Sarada smiled so helplessly, pitied the Hokage. Shikamaru walk closer to his side and slap his face

"Wake up!" He said after slapping the blonde dobe

Naruto almost fell from his chair, Sarada was used to them doing this kind of thing. She can't blame her uncle Shikamaru since Naruto had been helpless but still need to do his duties

He touch his aching cheek, "why would you do that for?!" He said while rubbing his painful cheek

"That's to test if you have forgotten who you are! Now check the papers, you aren't even ashame when your 'daughter-in-law' is just infront of you!"

Naruto came back to his senses when he saw the young Uchiha standing beside his advisor, he slam his hand and onto the desk that made the two of them jump

"Sarada!" The Hokage quickly called

"Yes?" Her voice had a fright but she manage to at least reply

Naruto's blue eyes were fix on her, he was serious which Boruto got his trait from. She didn't know what going on and why was the Hokage aggressively called her

"Did Sasuke say something to you? Did you broke up with Boruto? You don't need to listen to your annoying father, I'll support you! No, wait! I'll defend you! He musn't middle into your love life and-" he was fast talking to her but she cut his stupid talks off

"My papa have come back?" Her eyes gleam with delight

Naruto was confuse, "huh? You've never bump into each other yet?"

Sarada return with a force smile "Not yet, Hokage-sama!"

Naruto had embarass himself, he was so over fatigue and didn't have a good rest. He wasn't suppose to say those words but he couldn't bring back time

He smiled awkwardly "Hehe... please forget what I just said... it mean nothing!" He pleaded

If Hinata knows that he made a fool of himself because of a fight with his friend and involving his son, who knows who'll get a smack from the Byakugan princess

Boruto may seem to be reckless but he got that trait from his father, the mother always pamper her children

"Did papa say anything about Boruto?" She curiously ask

He raise his hands in mid air, waving it in denial "No, he didn't say anything!"

She doubt, she look at her uncle Shikamaru who just shrug at her as his reply. She didn't want to ask, let it be for a while since he said it mean nothing

"Then I shall take my leave, lord seventh!" She turn her back and headed to door, exited the office

"Do you really have too?" Boruto whine while taking a walk down the street

"Yes! It has been several months since I saw my papa, and this is the day he return and so this is the day I have to come and visit!" She explain, having her man walking beside her

"What about your apartment?" He tried to find excuses

"If you want, you could sleep there for the night?! I'll give you the key?" She search in her pocket, touching every inch that the key might have been placed

"Are you coming back there tonight?"

"No, I'll spend the night at the Uchiha residence!"

She led out a keychain of a Uchiha crest and handed it to him "here!"

He stop walking and she did the same, his ocean blue eyes look back at her onyx one

"What time will you go back tomorrow?" He shove his hands onto his jeans

"Hmm... maybe morning! It's sunday, I can go back whatever time I want!"

Boruto raise one of his blonde brow "maybe morning?" He repeated

She look surprise, she wasn't getting the idea of why he was acting up again

"Are you implying that you're gonna leave me alone in that lonely apartment and wait for you like an obedient puppy like for a whole day?!"

He made that pouting face again which she found it cute. But she can't ignore that he is showing off his stupidity in public

She shakes her head while smiling "Fine! Morning!"

A smile curve on his lips, he lower his head, leaning on her face a but close

"For my reward, I want it in advance!" He grin, that grin the he got a trait from his father

"Reward?"

"A kiss! You didn't do it properly at the Thunder burger! You did that just to shut me up, I heard you clearly saying that to Chocho and Shikadai!"

She blush lightly and push his face away from hers "No, not here!" She said, looking at the crowded place they were in

She roughly gave the key in his hand, "stop it, it's inappropriate!"

He held her hand from his face, getting it off from his face. "It isn't illegal unless you're not mine!" He insisted

"Yeah, and what? In the middle of the street? I'm not dumb to give you that and embarass myself!" Struggling from him

He clearly understand that, he gave that teasing grin to her. He intertwine his fingers into her, drag her off from that crowded place

"Where are we going?" Couldn't able to resist being drag by the blonde guy

"You said it's inappropriate to kiss me in public, then let's find a place where we can be alone!"

She was blushing hardly, she didn't knew he was this cunning. It's like the were doing thing that a youngster mustn't do

He was dragging her away, finding a spot where he could properly receive his advance reward...
