The musical of birds was the first thing I heard. Their innocent chirping. I slowly open my eyes. The egg yolk sun blinding me for a few seconds.

There was a grunt. Harper was still sleeping next to me. I stared off into the distance. Admiring the beautiful trees. Their leaves were changing thanks to autumn coming.

"Harper," I whispered. Poking her in the side.

"Huh?" She responded. It was obvious that she was still asleep so I poked her again.

"Harper, wake up."

"Go...Back..To...Bed."

"Harper, we fell asleep on the roof."

Right when I finished the sentence, Harper propped herself up. Her hair was tangled and her back was stained black, thanks to the roof.

"Shit. Oh god. Oh no." Harper kept rambling curse words as she started to climb down the tree, very quickly.

"Harper, calm down. Be careful, you just woke up."

"We are in so much trouble. Hurry up and get down here-"

There was silence. Great.

I made my way down the tree. I hissed and looked down to see my arm dripping blood. I managed to make it to my room without falling.

"Harper, My arm is ble-"

I looked up to see Levi standing in front of Harper. Arms crossed. He looked mad and Harper looked like she wanted to run out of this room.

Levi looked passed her to me- my arm.

"Goddammit. Seriously, Harper. How many times, huh? How many times have we told you not to go on the roof? Let alone sleep up there."

He walked over to me. I felt like shrinking. I wasn't used to this. Of course, mom always got mad at me even for the simplest things, but this anger was different. He grabbed my arm and walked us to my bathroom. He managed to rinse the cut and bandage it up. Harper was still on the bed watching us.

Once we were done, he told us that breakfast was about to be ready in fifteen minutes and to come down once we are ready.

He gave Harper one last glare before he left.

"I knew we shouldn't have down that. I am sorry, Bailey. Now we are both in trouble."

She was leaning on the doorframe.

"Hey, there is a first for everything.", I gave her a mischievous smile.

She let out a laugh. "I wouldn't be too happy. We haven't even gone downstairs yet."

My smile faded.

"Crap, I forgot that there are more of them."

She giggled and left.

After I took a shower, I dressed in a black cropped tank top and jean shorts. I liked being confident. Don't get me wrong, I love baggy clothes as much as the next person.

I decided to put my hair, half down and half up. Simple. Easy.

Once I built up the courage to go downstairs, I opened my door and made my way down the hall.

The sound of voices babbled happily like a mountain river. None of which sounded like Harper. She must have not been down yet.

I was thinking about going to go to her room and see if she wanted to go down with me, but decided not to.

The moment I reached the kitchen, the voices stop. Everyone looking at me. Their gazes following to my arm that was bandage with white gauze. Then, to behind me. I looked behind me to find Harper. She was wearing a blue short dress. Her hair was down and curled perfectly. Although, she didn't curl her hair.

"What?', Harper's voice sounded lethal. She was just as mad as them.

Mason let out a sarcastic laugh.

This should be fun.
