He introduces himself to them and they greet each other. They are somewhat impressed by him. Meanwhile Disha comes looking for Preeta/Anu, she sees her and also sees Karan looking at her with pain in his eyes.
Disha: *low voice* woh mehandi start hone wali hai aur Mrs Chopra ne tumhe aur Akash ko bulaya hai,
Akash: okay mein aata hoon, Disha, tum think toh ho na, itni sad kyu lag rahi ho?
A single tear rolls down Disha's cheek. She wipes it but Preeta notices.
Preeta/Anu: mein atti hoon *She takes Disha to a room*
Preeta/Anu: Disha dekho tum Akash ki best friend hone ke saath saath meri bhi friend ho, mujhe toh batao kya hua,
Disha: *fake smile* nahi kuch nahi hua tumhe aisa kyu lagta hai? Vese woh jinke saath tum baatein kar rahi th, kya tum unn logo ko pehle se jaanti ho?
Preeta/Anu: nahi kyu?
Disha: nahi kuch nahi, *she gets a call* mein aati hoon,
She goes to accept the call leaving Preeta alone. After a while Preeta comes down with a pale face and a fake smile. She goes and sits next to Akash and quietly gets her mehandi done.
Preeta/Anu: *to Akash* acchi hai na,
Akash: hmm nice, isme mera naam hai?
Preeta/Anu: haan, apna initial dhoondo
Karan, on the other hand, is getting very jealous seeing them together but feels helpless.
Karan: *thinks* at least Preeta Khush toh hai Akash ke saath, jab mere saath thi toh kitna royi thi, kam se kam Preeta ki hassi toh dekhno ko milli,
He gets lost in her smile, but flashes of their moments come in front of his eyes, not being able to hold his tears for any longer, he goes to a corner and cries his heart out. Preeta/Anu comes looking for Maya and Karan is walking from the other side, they bump and Karan slightly touches Preeta's hand smudging the letter A off her hands.
Karan's hands r on her waist while her hands are in front of his shoulders but not touching him, they share a cute eyelock while "Kaun Tujhe '' plays in the background, Preeta's eyes get watery. They break the eyelock.
Karan/Preeta: dekh kar nahi chal sakta
Karan/Preeta: mujhe copy kyu kar rahe ho
Karan: mein tumhari copy kyu karunga
Preeta: tumhare kehne ka matlab hai ki mein tumhari copy kar rahi hoon, oh pls, mere paas koi aur kaam nahi hai kya
Karan: haan toh mein The Karan Luthra hoon, mein dusro ko copy nahi karta, mera khud ka style hai
Preeta/Anu: whatever, mere paas iss nonsense ke liye time nahi hai, mein bahut busy hoon,
Karan: oh hello, mein tumse jyada busy hoon.....
Preeta/Anu: haan haan, whatever, ab mujhe jaane do,
Karan: wait, tum mujhe avoid kar rahi ho?!
Preeta/Anu: tumhe abhi realise hua?
Karan: *desperate* lekin kyuuu?????
Preeta/Anu: mein phir se kidnap nahi hona chahti
Karan: woh kidnap nahi tha woh toh, umm mein tumhe ghar le Gaya tha
Preeta/Anu: exactly woh kidnap tha
Maya: Anushka tu yaha hai, mein tumhe kitni der se dhoond rahi hoon, *notices Karan* aap?
Karan: mein Mr Yash ke business partner ka Bhai hoon,
Maya: oh acha, um Anu tumhare dad tumhe bula rahe hai
Preeta/Anu: oh ok,
she leaves and Maya is also about to go but
Karan: Anu aapki real beti nahi hai na.
This shocks Maya and she turns,
Maya: tumhe kaise pata...I mean tumhe kyu lagta hai?
Karan: kyuki mein uska husband hoon.
