everything so simple
but becomes complicated
we play our cards
and the universe responds
the pain that once was
it's time for the heavens to cure
my garden once barren with weeds
now glows with traces of green
once adrift in the sea of storms
burned by the sun and cursed by the moon
suddenly on some calypso coast
i revel triumphantly against the odds
too long i have slumbered
a feast that sails through my soul
a queen from above but a daughter in the shadows
what balance i conquered in the dualism
nothing but melodies fill the air as the fire burns ever so bright
my feet humming so harmoniously to the dance of my spirit
