Han Jisung

Unlike the previous day, the morning weather was nothing but consistent rain. The noise was violent as it lashed down upon the windows, forming a shield of water on the outside glass. Jisung mindlessly watched the raindrops slip down to the window ledge, before flopping back onto his friend's bed with an exasperated huff.

Felix looked up for a moment from his laptop, a little worried about his friend's somber mood. It could be because of the rain- Jisung hated bad weather since he'd always end up being stuck indoors- but Felix couldn't help but feel there was something else on the blond's mind.

"What's up Ji? Rain getting you down?" Jisung waited for a moment to make sure Felix didn't start typing again, then sat up with another loud sigh.

"My mum just told me she and dad can only afford to send me to community collage." Jisung caught sight of Felix's quirked eyebrow, so quickly added, "It's not that I'm not grateful!! And I mean, there's nothing wrong with community collage, it's just.."

"It's community collage?"

"Exactly."

Jisung turned to sit opposite Felix, who slid away his laptop and imitated his friend's position. "I need to get a job, so I can get some cash to put towards going to someplace better." Felix thought over Jisung's dilemma, trying to come up with a solution.

"I thought you had a job at the bakery?" Once again Jisung let out a groan, placing his chin on his palm with a miserable frown on his face.

"Got fired. Some other employee didn't like me very much, so framed me for stealing from the cash register." Felix just managed to refrain from laughing, since he could see how put out Jisung was at the memory. The blond had loved working at that bakery, and told Felix countless times how nice it was to see the customers' happy faces and get a decent tip. Instead, Felix rolled over to his laptop and pulled it onto his lap.

Jisung glanced at him lazily, face scrunching as his friend began typing away frantically. God knows what plan the Aussie had in store, probably some weird acting gig that would land Jisung in a difficult situation. Wouldn't be the first time that Felix had gotten him into nearly signing some sketchy contract. Not that he ever meant Jisung harm, he just had a habit of ignoring the terms of services.

Felix clicked his fingers in triumph, coming to sit next to Jisung on the bed with the browser open on a website. "What you should do, my squirrel friend, is get a job as a babysitter!" The blond listened as Felix rambled on about experience and how good the pay was, all the while reading over the information on the baby sitting pair up website. It did sound quite promising, plus Jisung wanted to become a dad one day but didn't have any younger siblings or cousins he could look after on the weekends.

"So, whatcha think??"

"I think you're a genius Lix."

"Awhh stop that, I'm blushing."

So Jisung spent the rest of that afternoon on Felix's laptop, searching to find someone to be a baby sitter for. To bitter luck however, none of them seemed to fit his schedule. They all seemed to be around the hours he had his classes, or when he went in runs, and he couldn't exactly give up his work or his only hobby. Either that or the parents that Jisung messaged turned him down instantly due to him being "an untrustworthy male". One woman said he was too old to be a baby sitter, another told him he was too young.

"This is why I don't date." Jisung muttered through clenched teeth, his comment making Felix cackle with laughter. After about two hours Jisung was forced to come home via a text of his mum, and made the short jog from Felix's to his own house. He had no time to look some more for a job offer, his evening being too full of work, and the idea of babysitting got lost in the back of his brain up until Jisung was about to fall asleep.

Jisung didn't know what "idea" Felix had this time, but knowing him it would once again be something ridiculous. Still, he was only trying to help. Deciding not to dwell on it, Jisung switched off the light and snuggled under the covers with the hopes of getting a good nights sleep.
