PALLETTE (IU ft. G-DRAGON) was jamming in SONG HYEMI'S playlist as her brows knitted together, scrunching up her nose and pursing her lips as she tried doing the last stitch on Suji's incomplete project. This last part was relatively difficult to finish, and apparently Hyemi had ran out of the bubblegum pink thread she's using. Of course, she had several other pink threads which could replace the last strand for the doll's hair, yet Hyemi's eyes couldn't accept a slightly different color sticking out like the odd one out, so here she was, forcing the five centimeter long string to stitch the doll to perfection.

"Almost . . . there . . . " she murmured tightly, finally putting the needle through the perfect place. Just a tiny, gentle jerk and—

"Hyemi dear!" called out the disembodied tremulous voice of her grandmother from below. Although soft and sweet was the voice of the dear old woman, Hyemi was in such a stiff and focused state of mind that it startled her, nearly getting the needling poked into her eyes as a single cuss word slipped through her lips.

"F***, just f***," cussed Hyemi at this, managing to snap the frail thread after accidentally pulling it when she jumped. However, that's a problem for later, she can't ignore the euphonious calling for her grandmother for anything. "What, granny?" she responded, putting down the doll and scurrying out her room.

Coming to the door of the kitchen, she found the woman heating up some warm water. The sweet wrinkled face light up at the sight of her granddaughter, her eyes smiling fondly over her swift arrival like she always does when she sees Hyemi. At moments like these does the cold heart of Hyemi warm up, one could never remain hard when this dear elderly lady is around, her simple kind gesture of smiling able to lighten up one's most sombre hours.

"Ah Hyemi, turns out that we ran out of coffee and tea for the night, could you please run to the convenience store and get restock us some?" requested Kyunghee, lurching to the table where her purse was.

Now knowing that her precious coffee was now absent from the kitchen shelves, Hyemi was quick to respond. "Anything else besides that?"

Kyunghee hummed as she tried to list down anything else, "A few carts of chocolate milk, I'm making chocolate cake tomorrow, along with some toothbrushes, we need to renew ours," she added, handing Hyemi the money who hurried to the door. "It seems like it's going to rain soon, why don't you bring an umbrella?" her grandmother put in, slowly taking the umbrella which hung near the door.

"I'll be real quick, it's not far anyway," replied Hyemi. "I'll use my hoodie." she went on, slipping into her outdoor hoodie as she said so, going out the door right after.
