I apologize for any misspelled words, or any ERROR at all I've always been terrible at English, and I hate it but I'm very dyslexic. I'm only writing this because I've been told I'm very creative but to tell you the truth I don't think so. Right now I'm just testing out how people think of my stories. So I hope you all can get past the mistakes because I'm really trying my best. Hope you enjoy! ~Crim

Wanderlust
[won-der-luhst]
noun.
a strong, innate desire to rove or travel about.

Standing at the door saying my goodbyes, the realization hit me. I'm doing this. I'm actually doing this. Holy crap, after years of planning, this is really about to happen!

"Honey, I can't believe how fast you have grown up." as my mom on the verge of tears raps her arms around me squeezing the breath out of me.

God I love my mom but sometimes she can be a little dramatic. Gasping for air, barely getting out "Mom, I... can't...breath." To my relief she quickly lets go taking a step back.

"Sorry, I don't know what came over me. It's just I'm going to miss you so much" giving me a slight smile she backs away standing next to my father.

Next it's my fathers turn to speak. "Well, I don't know what to say, when you first said you and your friends where going on a trip across the country I really didn't believe you, but now I realize my daughter has become a woman and is now taking her life into her own hands." Ugh he's getting all mushy, thinking to myself, he does this too much. "I hope you have fun."

"Will do father."

"And don't forget to use protection!" giving me a smile know I'm uncomfortable hearing this.

"Dad!" I say as I flush.

"Sorry. It's just you'll be having a trip with basically all boys. They are never to be trusted, especially when their hormones are still controlling their actions."

"Oh, come on. They are only 3 guys going and they all respect my space." Hearing a loud honk makes me jump 5 feet in the air. "That must be them! I really have to go now." Moving forward planting a kiss on my moms forehead and then moving to my dad giving him a kiss on the cheek.

Turning around and seeing Willlow's RV just pulling up my driveway. With the biggest grin on my face, with all the joy, excitement, and nerves about to rip through my chest spurting out of me like confetti I run out of my house. "Love you guys. I'll keep you updated!" as I yell back to my parents.

About to reach for the handle the door swings open hitting me square in the forehead, knocking me back making me stumbling over my feet, not quite enough to fall but enough force to make me flail my arms in effort to regain my balance.

A small, slim figure stands in front of me looking at me with guilt. "Sorry, I didn't realize you where that close to the door, Al"

Rubbing my forehead "Well thanks for the wonderful 'hello', Willow" I say sarcastically.

"Sorry I feel really bad now. Are you alright?"

"Yeah I think I'll be fine, but this will be a nasty welt later. Now give me a real hello!" Changing my tone to be cheerful. Opening up my arms for a hug she accepts it and squeezes me to death.

"Everyone wants me to stop breathing today" Pulling away from her embrace trying to regain my breath.

"The guys are at Andrex's house waiting. Then we can head over to Sam's to get her."
