No matter how she stare at the rain drops whom filled their silence. She can't put her thoughts at rest. But she never feel alone, because he's there waiting for her to stop from crying.
When the rain finally stopped, her tears stops from falling too. Only to stare at Jungkook who's busy treating her wounded feet.
Utter silence, only the sound of crickets and glow of fireflies surrounded them
Jieun starts to look at him as he seriously look at her feet and how worst it is. How his nose scrunch up or how his face frown every now and then
It made her heart calm down, looking at his soft features.
But the burning pain is still there
Jungkook never asked her anything, after she had calm down he just stay at her side. He noticed how her clothes look tarnish. Without hesitation or asking, he pulled his jacket off to give it to her. It's getting chilly but he doesn't care–
So Jieun clings to it's warm as if she's still hugging him. And it felt nice and comforting.
But no matter how her brain run from everything it just keeps on coming back
"Jungkook-ssi–" She find it hard to speak, she can't even feel her face.
Jungkook didn't mind it, he's still wrapping his handkerchief to her swollen leg
"I won't ask anything if that's what you want to say..." His face grimace when he heard she winces from the pain"...you don't need to tell me, if you don't want to"
It made her smile a little, biting her lips to let herself suck her pain.
"I-i should have stop the moment you said so–i should have"
Jungkook stand up and look at her, but she refuses to. Because she was ashamed, embarrassed of how will everyone looks at her pathetically. But she wouldn't understand that the guy in front of him never did look at her the same they were
