Get to know your judge:

I like reading fantasy and "Other world" type of stories–I love when I can be "transported" to a new place–it really shows how good an author is. I really like writing fantasy and I LOVE characters!! I love hearing about other characters and I fall in LOVE with them. I'm a big talker and I love telling my thoughts. If I don't like something I will be very vocal, if I like something, I'm very vocal. You will get your feedback XD

How much your judge will read: 5+ chapters; they plan to stop when the book ceases to interest them to provide feedback on where the story might loose readers

Rubric:

Cover (5): Does the cover look nice? Is it eye catching? Is it relevant? Can I tell it's a fanfictio from looking at it?

Blurb (5): Is the blurb relevant? Does it reveal the subject and hint at the contents of the writing? Does it hook the reader in?

Grammar (10): Is the grammar good? Are there any punctuation errors or spelling typos or other grammatical issues? Are sentence structures varied and interesting to read?

Characterization (20): Are the characters from the original source material the same as they were in the stories? Are you giving them genuine development? Are they acting like the characters they were?

Creativity / Originality (30): Is the story different than the source material? Are we getting a genuie new story or a fancied fan service version of the original? Is it interesting enough to keep me involved?

World-building (10): If the story takes place in the same world as the source material–does it come off that way? If it's new–am I transported to that world? DO the character's appearances change along with the world their in?

Cohesiveness (20): Is the pacing of the fanfiction good? Are the characters moving like they did in the original source material? Is it too fast? Are there relationships everywhere? Is there no development? Do I understand what is going on and why?
