You walked down the hallway of the smasher mansion. You were searching for a friend. Ness.
,,Ness! Were are you?"
You called out again. In a half hour the first fights are going to start. And you couldn't find him...
You started running again. You and Ness are friends since you came here. You two did everything together.
Then you spotted him. Outside.
,,Ness! I searched everywhere for you!"
You told him happily that you found him. But the little boy was sad. Anyone could see that.
,,What's wrong Ness?"
You asked pretty worried. He just hugged you and started crying.
,,Ness please tell me what's wrong."
You tried again. He looked at you with his puppy eyes.
,,I'm so scared of the fights. I don't want to do that!"
He started tearing up again. You didn't know what to say. You just felt bad to.
,,Ness, your pretty good! You have so many cool and powerfull skills."
He smiled and blushed a bit. You smiled too.
,,And also everyone is here to fight. It's not a bad thing or something. We all have got fun when we're fighting."
You patted his head. Ness chuckled.
,,Thanks for the compliment (Name)! And... Maybe you're right. We are all here to fight after all."
You walked back to the smash mansion. Ness behind you.

You all waited to get called up together with your partner. After a while a voice could be heard.
Ness and Toon Link vs Fox and Falco.
You looked at Ness and steped infront of him.
,,Good Luck Ness!"
,,Thanks!"
He said happily. You smiled. Then he kissed your cheek.
,,By!"
He called and run away.
