Bridgestone city was an easy city to look over.

A city settled on the coast of Beforang Village, far away from the other cities. It could have easily been a point for restocking fruit and veg considering that it was the best part of the country to grow plants with the heat of the sun, but the prevailing winds went against it, shaking down and destroying the villagers crops.

'What a hopeless city?' Will shook his head, as he watched the people dry their clothes up on the public lines not scared that thieves could easily steal and run away without being caught.

'There's not a chance we're going to find the next princess here' Alex scoffed, wondering if the villagers even cared about the level of poverty they were living in.

'We've got to give it a shot' Will spat, tired and restless from their nights awake without a glimpse of sleep. Plugging their noses, they maneuvered themselves through the garbage that laid exposed on the infertile ground.

The pair trudged in the mucky, wet ground until they reached the opposite side of the street which was less but still disgusting as the other end.

'Hello' Will shouted, waving his arms around for attention. 'Please listen'. The poor kids and adults looked up, a smile on their faces nonetheless as they admired the pairs rich, fine clothing.

Everyone crowded around them, the anticipation of what they were going to say killing them. It had been a very long time since someone from the upper part of the country came for a visit.

'We are on a mission to find the next princess. After Princess Blanches sudden young death, we have been on the search for the next princess. It's been seven mournful years since her death, and we have been on the search ever since. If you or anyone you know has a daughter aged around 7, please allow them to follow us, while we set out activities to examine if any are the reincarnation' Will explained poshly, fixing his tie and dusting his plaid suit.

The crowd bursted into full chatter, some excited as they gripped and kissed their seven year olds proudly.

'They don't even know if they're child is the reincarnation' Alex huffed, watching in disgust. Will smacked his chest, gesturing for the kids and their parents to follow them down an alleyway where a table with fine ornaments were laid.

'Your kid needs to pick one of these ornaments, based on the one she picks we will be able to identify if they are the next princess in line' Alex spoke. One out of the 26 ornaments laid on the tables was used by Princess Blanches, the kid who chooses it, is someone who feels as if they have a connection with it. Through the other cities they've travelled not a single sound had picked it up or even glanced at it for that matter. All hope was placed in this city.

The first kid came up, eagerly glancing at every ornament, their mom's hand clasped together in hope. The girl picked up an old ragged doll, in other words the wrong option.

'Sorry, next' Will said bitterly, causing the mom to frown and the child to wail. And this was how it went for the next rounds of children. There's nothing stronger than a crying child that wants a 'toy' that they picked.

'Next' Willl said hopeless, as another girl abundantly walked up to the satin wrapped table.

'Wait' the dad held back his daughter. 'What do I get in return?'

'Excuse me?' Alex scoffed, eyes widening at his question.

'If my daughter is the next princess in line what do I get in return?' The man asked sharply, arms laying firmly on the daughter's shoulder.
