'Will didn't kill Blanches... I did'

Andres jumped back in astonishment, gasping for air as he moved back until he reached the door.

'Andres, son. Wait, I'm not proud of my actions, it was a terrible thing to do. Just hear me out' Alex tried, attempting to move forward but for once Andres was thankful that he was bound in chains.

Andres ignored the older man, fishing out the key in his pocket and drilling it in the keyhole. His fingers were jumping rhythmically, as if in spasm, making it harder to open the door smoothly. Once opened, he quickly dashed out, and then his legs gently folded and he subsided slowly on the step. His stomach started to suddenly churn, and oh god he prayed, don't let that happen. Not now, he picked himself up, running down the hallway as he fought he terrible urge to just vomit.

'You shouldn't be here roaming the hallways of Cheuk's mansion. Your shifts over, get back to your room righ away' Mr. Sophus scolded, pointing a finger in the opposite direction.

'Yes sir, sorry sir' Andres apologized, keeping his head bent down low as he briskly took the short route to his room. The short journey felt a lot longer with the sickness in his stomach and the birds metamorphically flyin around his head.

'Andres, you're back' Kaycee chirped, once the boy opened the door and ran in.

'Everything okay?' Charity questioned, quirking a brow and standing by his side, with one arm wrapped around his waist for balance. 'You look sick'.

'I'm alright. I just- duties were really heavy today' he lied, wiping of the sweat that slid down his forehead. Sean glared at him, daring him to speak further. But he didn't.

'Did you see Alex? What did he say? Did you show him my note' Kaycee asked softly, biting the inside of her lip as she stared at the brown haired boy.

'Uh-he-'

'What did you ask Alex? I think now is a good time to tell me' Sean interrupted, face to face with Kaycee.

'I asked Andres to ask Alex if he knew anything about Will k-killing Blanches' Kaycee stammered, fiddling with the hem of her shirt while wobbling on her two feet.

'What? Why did you do that?'

'Cause if anyone knows anything about Will's past then it's Alex, he has to have known' Kaycee explained, taking in labored breaths. Sean made an 'oh' shape with his mouth, squeezing her shoulder supportively. 'What did he say?'

'He-um said that-uh... he said t-that W-will, uh- Alex doesn't know any t-thing about that. He doesn't even k-know where Arielle g-got that theory' Andres stuttered, praying that the brunette wouldn't notice his quick, white lie.

'Oh, alright then. That's weird, but whatever. Kinda relived though, Will might not be a murderer after all' Kaycee sighed, smiling brightly at the boy before settling a blanket and pillow on the floor. 'Now that everything is a tiny bit happier, I'm taking a nap' she giggled, pulling up the blanket to her body. Sean followed suit, but decided to sit down beside her and rub her back soothingly until she drifted off to sleep.

'So what's your deal?' Sean questioned, once light snores escaped the brunette's mouth.

'Why are you being so cold?' Charity laughed, rolling her eyes at the Asian boy. 'I think you need to get some sleep as well, grouch'

'I'm not talking to you. What's your deal, Andres?' Sean snapped, alarming the girl and boy.

'N-nothing, everything's great' he mumbled, facing his back to Sean. 'Couldn't be better'.
