'where the hell am I?! Those damn idiots left me, what mangrove is this?!' law thought as he walked around a strange mangrove, tall trees with drawings as he go further and deeper into the forest.
Then he heard a sweet little hum.
"oh, the joys of having no friends, how obnoxious" he heard as he looked over and saw a petit looking girl, with long (h/c) hair, her hair reached down above her knees, and her back was turned. And he can clearly see some paint cans on the floor, some are open and some are closed.
"Umm.... Excuse me" he called, making the girl jump and turn around quickly
"stop right there! Please keep a 1 meter distance" she said
"why?" law asked
"I..... I have an extreme case of haphephobia. So, do you mind?"
"oh.... Right, I never met anyone with that type of phobia"
"oh..... Okay, anyway! Why... Why did you call me? Sir...?" she asks shyly
"your kinda shy, aren't you?" he teased and smirked, she blushed and looked away
"anyway, do you have a transponder snail?" he asks
"y-yeah.... I have one in my tree house" she answered
"tree house?" he echoed
"yeah.... I know it's a child's dream, but that works" she smiled at him, law stared with a pink hue playing with his cheeks,
"say... How old are you?" he asked as they started heading towards her home,
"19, you?" she answered
"I'm... 20, you look a lot younger than your age"
"is it because I'm small?"
"a little" he chuckled, she laughed a little, law blushed when he heard her laugh, it made his heart go doki-doki.
"sir? Are you okay?" she asked dhim as he noticed he was zoning out.
"I'm fine" he says, they stopped at a tree with a drawing of the night sky.
"wait." she says before punching the tree lightly.
Then a door opens upward, "let's go?" she asked as law stepped inside the door, it was a small enclosed place, fit for two people, she gets in and pushed a holographic button and the ground start to go up. He notices that she was scared due to the enclosed space,
"um.... What's your name?" he asked making the tense aura around her lessen
"I'm (y/n)"
"(y/n).... What?"
"just (y/n), how about you?"
"I'm Trafalgar law."
"you mean... Surgeon of death?"
"yeah, what is this?"
"oh, it's called an elevator. I made it"
"wow..... How?"
"if you can't see, I'm an inventor myself sir Trafalgar" she answered as law smiled to himself.
The door opens upward again and showed a neatly sized living room
"what mangrove is this by the way?" law asked
"mangrove 0"
"mangrove 0?" he echoed
"yes, it is said that mangrove 0 is the very first mangrove in the whole sabaody"
"how do you know that?" law asked as he sat down at the sofa, she walked to her mini library, three shelves full of books, she grabs one and gave it to law
"here sir, I'll get the transponder snail." she says as she went upstairs. Law looked around and saw a table full of pictures, he walked over to a desk, he lifted a picture frame up to where he can see, he observed the picture very carefully, it was her with her.... Family?
"I can see you're looking at my pictures" she said making him jump, he didn't even hear her over.
"stop scaring me please?" he asks as she laughed the same laugh earlier
"here's the phone," she said while handing him the phone
"thanks" he answers and dialed a number. But no one answered
"those idiots must still be in the fair" he said to himself
"fair? What's that?" she asked curiously
"you don't know what a fair is?" she shook her head 'no'
"well..... A fair is where you can go on rides, play games, or in short, where you can have fun" he answers as she nodded
"dang, I wish I could go there. There are too many freaks outside this mangrove" she murmured to herself
"okay..... Say, how do you make all the gadgets in this place?" he asked looking around in amusement and interest due to the gadgets surrounding him
"oh, come..... Follow me" she says and leading him upstairs to the lab she has.
Law was absolutely amazed, all those gadgets she could make, all those weapons she make, all those possible pills she could make, it made law amazed
"it's just sad that no one really cares about them" she says
"that's some amazing stuff you can do"
"I know..... The saddest part is that, I hat being touched, yet, I make these" she says
Later...
Law called again,
"captain! Where are you?! You made us worried!" one of his crew said
(y/n) giggled at their outburst
"shut it, what mangrove are you guys in?"
"mangrove 25"
"good. I'll head over" law says hanging up
He stands up and waved goodbye to the girl,
"see you soon then" she says waving goodbye
Law exited the tree house. 'I'll come back tomorrow' he thought as determined to ask her to join his crew.
Next day...
"what do you mean captain?" they asked
"I said, I need bepo to help me out and ask someone to join the crew,"
"shouldn't you have asked them yesterday?" one asked, a small pink hue ran past his cheeks
"w-well...." he began
"captain.... Dont tell us, it's a girl" the other asked
"yes... Now, bepo! Let's go!" he said pulling bepo and exiting their sub
"captain!! We want to come too!" Two of his crew asked, he can't complain so he let them.
They were close to the tree house, when they heard a small tune. They peeked a little and saw the same petite girl.
