Silence fell upon the said room and law dissmised the two with just a hand gesture and the two ran out of the room leaving the both of you alone.

"anyways captain, what do you want to talk to me about?" you smiled innocently

"what's this 'parallel universe' of yours?" he asked as he closed the door and walked closer to you.

"a parallel universe is a place where its either past, future, or another dimension" you answered as you didn't notice he was now right In front of you

"is that so?" he asked as he caressed your cheeks

"yep!" your innocence drips.

"is there any way a person from the present, go to the future?" he asked

"yes sir! Unless the future is not theirs I mean, if they knew their own future, they might change their ways and change how it will all end" you concluded as he hummed

"may I see your future then?" he asked as you thought for a while

"just..... Don't be shocked, alright?" you answered as he nodded, you snapped your fingers in his face and just like that, the world around you changed and it was the modern time.

"this is 7 years later than our current time, no one will see us nor hear us, but they can feel us" you answered as you held his hand, he blushed when he felt your fingers brushing against his,

'her hands are so warm, it's not like I haven't touched her hand already, it's just that, this time it's a soft warm touch' he blushed while thinking, you giggled at what he thought

"we must be together, if you get lost around here you'll be lost forever" you said

He nodded. Unless he really wanted to get lost.

"let's find me here!" you answered gleefully

You guys searched for your self in that time, she was nowhere to be seen, until......

Two children, probably twins, walked/ partly stopped in front of you two, the twins were a girl and a boy, the girl had silver eyes and black hair, while the boy had (e/c) eyes and (h/c) messy hair.

"mommy! Daddy! Quick!! I'm bored~!" the little girl said

"now now, (d/n=Daughter name) and be careful, you might trip" that familiar voice, it was you.

"finally, we found you" law said as you giggled and knew what was going to happen next.

"Hun, wait up" that familiar deep voiced partner of yours

"w-wait..... THAT'S ME!!" your captain yelled

"realization hits right?" you laughed

"if that's me, meaning these two are....." he concluded

"I don't know.." you murmured

"... Our children" he deadpanned. You laughed. ^w^

"yup," you answered, he blushed so hard

"how did that happen?" he looked away still blushing

You snapped your fingers again and it transported you two back at the sub,

"I don't know..." you said walking past him, constantly teasing him every now and then.

Later that night....

You were out on the deck as the cold night air breeze brushing against your warm skin feels so good, as the gentle waves of the dark and cold ocean relaxes you, it was around 12 pm that time.

'when was the last time I felt this?' you thought as the door to the inside of the sub opened, looking sideways, it was your captain walking towards you

He stood right beside you, he smiled.

"(y/n)? Is something wrong?" he asked as you shook your head

"nothing captain, just..... I don't know, thinking? It's usually normal to have nothing in my mind at night, so you may say that something is bothering me" you said as he sweat dropped

"you could've just said yes" he said as you chuckled

"sorry" you answered

"so what is it?" he asked as you looked down at your hands which were on top of the railing, resting. You shrugged and closed your eyes

Feeling his hand go on top of one of your hands, you opened your eyes and looked up at, he had this weird in a good way smile you only saw at Dr. Vlaanderene before, remembering her made you sad, well, it does make sense that she looks like him made you hurt more to the point your eyes watered but no tears came down, there was a weird shadow upon your eyes

"(y/n)-ya? What's..... What's wrong?" he asked while cupping your cheek with his other hand

Then out of nowhere, warm tears came down and going over his hand, he was surprised to see you cry again. He instantly wiped the tears away

"what's wrong? (y/n) you can tell me" he said while wiping all your tears away.

"just.... Just remembered someone"

"who?"

"Dr. Vlaanderene, you remind me of her, I just wonder why you look exactly like her, the attitude changed though" you laughed

"really? What looks do we have in common?" he asked

"everything. From the steel gray eyes, black raven hair, and to your tan skin, even the height is the same........" you answered

"is that so? The world is so sweet" he answered

"captain?"

"yeah?"

"don't get me mean but, every time I look at you, she's there, that's why sometimes, I hate encountering you, you remind me of my past as a child, I hate that...." you said as the same shadow formed in your eyes. Secretly hiding your glassy eyes.

"oh...... I'm sorry then"

"no, it's not your fault, it's just....... It's just my mind is registered to never forget my loved ones even when I die, to keep them dear in my heart and to never let them go, some thing's wrong with me, I don't know why" you said, he hugged you, that made you surprised

"nothing is wrong with you, it's just your heart that is pure and kind, never let's go of the ones in your life, it's not your mind, it's your heart, your mind never controlled your body, your heart did. So tell me, do you consider yourself to be broken?" he asked as he placed his head on top of yours

"I...... Don't know" you answered

"you were never broken...... You were completely functioning, so don't go off and say your mind is broken because in real life, nothing is broken, just your thoughts." warm tears flowed down your eyes like a river and buried your face into his chest,
