Ch 5

Your pov

While telling that darned past, you felt all the colors that once stayed, faded. You never cried, you never sobbed at that, and you were mostly cold voiced.

You looked at law who just stares darkly at you, "one question" he said

"hmm?"

"what's a kudan?" he asked

"a kudan is a goat with a human head and can speak human language, they can predict the future, yet dies after. But when it gets hurt, it heals itself easy" you said

"so.... Your powers on seeing the future depends on that?"

"nope! I have to get killed several of times to see the future!" you said with a smile

"okay?" he answers, as you just looked up at the ceiling.

"pfft! If you get killed hundreds of times, what're you going to be then?!" you remembered that was the reaction of Dr. Vlaanderene when you told her about that, making your smile fade down into a slight frown.

Then you were pulled into a tight embrace

"(y/n), u know it hurts, I know the feeling" he said

"I can't cry over spilt milk, Dr. Vlaanderene says that" you silently said as he's the only who heard it

"but I'm sure she wants you to be happy" he comments, you let a few - scratch that- you let out tons of tears as you clung into his shirt like it's the end of the world or something

"there, there" he said softly trying to calm you down, a good 5 minutes later, you calmed down

"heh, I never really cried like that" you said sitting up wiping a tear off with a smile

"that was fast, people like that cry themselves to sleep" he dead panned

"I don't care~" you answered playfully

Later...

The whole day passed on like a charm and like nothing happened, it was merely sunset as you were standing on top of the mast. One foot balance, staring at the sky.

"what ever on earth are you doing up there?" you heard your captain's voice yell from the deck making you jump and slide down the mast. Good thing he caught you on time.

"what were you doing up there?" he asked while putting you down

"it helps me get my mind off........ Uh...... Things" you deadpanned.

"geez...... That's harsh, I don't think that won't work, and besides, how did you get up there?" he asked

"teleportation" you answered

"you're unbelievable" he sighed

"I'M unbelievable?" you clarified as he looked at you

"what?" you asked him cluelessly

"none" he simply answers

You laughed softly as it is, "w-why are you laughing?" he asked looking away with a visible hue of pink in his cheeks

"nothing captain-San" You said softly

"just.... Shut it will ya?" he said walking inside leaving you part confused

A few days later...

You guys arrived at an island, a white everything island. The island was called 'white flower' island, litteraly. The flowers were white, the leaves of the trees were whit, and almost everything was covered in white. You and your captain has to know more information about the place, once you guys entered the city, there all the girls were pretty. "no wonder this place is called white flower" you heard your captain mumble

You chuckled to yourself, you guys walked around the island only to find a library of white, obviously.

"this place looks like a hospital than a library, the missing thing here is the cross on top" you laughed as you two entered the library.

"you got that right" he answers

You guys read almost all of the books in there about the island, the information so far was that this place used to be a scientific research area before, where they use this place for some scientific reasons and such. They still do it until today though, there's still missing, so you walked around the isles and found a highly mysterious and thick book up higher than ten shelves, using your powers, you floated and grabbed the book, opening it and found out it was the main history book.

"how ever on earth did you do that (y/n)-ya?" you heard your captain said as you looked down and saw him confused, you went down in front of him and handed him a book.

"well, this is a great find, good job" he said while patting your head and you suddenly feel shy all of a sudden

"white flower used to be a deserted place, so government made their subjects here. The only reason that people are here today is that the government bring all the homeless here to experiment them" law said

"well that's shitty" you answered

"where did you learn that?" he quickly asked

"shachi-san and penguin-San told me" you answered happily

"whatever, don't say that again, good?" he said quite angry at the moment

"okay, you say so...." you answered

Later...

You both came back at the sub by sunset

"what a beautiful sunset" you said, you heard your captain say something you can't quite understand.

"what did you say captain?" you asked him while tugging the sleeves of his hoodie

"nothing" he simply answers

"okie..." you mumbled and you two arrived at the sub.

"it's quite quiet in here" law said as both of you entered the sub

"too quiet" you said

"let's check the gallery" he suggested as both of you dropped all the things you bought today at his room

Law opened the door to the gallery where it was daek

"what highly suspicious you guys are" you murmured to yourself causing him to chuckle

You opened the lights

"SURPRISE (Y/N)-CHAN!!" you jumped at that

"aww.... Gezz guys, thanks" you said as ikkaku hugged you

"happy birthday (y/n)" she said

"thanks everyone" you thanked them

Later...

You had fun with everyone and of course blowing the candles out only to found out it was your favorite cake, (don't know if you like that) mocha chiffon cake. 'what A great day it was' you thought
