Like a clockwork

Put the key in and twist it from behind, turn the mechanical parts inside and wait for it to chime. Let the cogs work their moving parts inside the case and watch as the hands swing around on the face.

And a one and a two and a three and a four, one wrong step and the foxtrot is no more. Don't worry about the springs that prod out its back, or the jolts, splinters, cries and cracks. It's all part of the slow dance with you, so wind it up again and start anew. Change it up to a triple time and take the lead, a waltz will surely not affect what you ignored to heed.

As long as you continue winding it up with the key, you can always start over again with a "one, two, three!"
