Y/N
I sighed, leaning back into my seat. My seat was separate from anyone from my school so I plugged my headphones in and put on a podcast to listen to for the flight. These next 12 hours stuck by two strangers would be fun.

I was sat in the middle seat of the three chairs. That meant that when the person sitting by the window came to their seat, I'd have to move. However, knowing this, I leaned my head back against the seat and closed my eyes.

It wasn't even thirty seconds later when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see a flight attendant stood with a little girl. She seemed a bit worried.

"Excuse me miss, this little girl's seat is next to yours by the window. Can you make sure she's alright during the flight?" I nodded with a warm smile. I shifted so the little girl could get past me to her seat. The flight attendant thanked me and walked off.

"So what's your name? I'm Y/N." I put my hand out for the little girl. She didn't seem any older than six or seven. She glanced at me with a sort of scared look.

"Umm my name's Mia. Are you gonna hurt me?" There were tears forming in her eyes and she started to shake slightly.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you at all. You're safe with me." This calmed the girl slightly. I thought for a moment before standing up and grabbing my carry on bag. I had some simple art stuff in there like an A5 sketch pad and a mechanical pencil. I also grabbed a fine liner. I put everything back and sat back down.

"What's your favourite movie? Or show?" I asked the girl. She titled her head and went into thought for a moment.

"I really like In the Night Garden, Makka Pakka is my favourite!" She got a bit giggly and excited. I gasped a bit.

"No way! I love In the Night Garden too! I like Upsy Daisy though," I said, making the girl giggle a bit.

"She squeaks sometimes!" Mia giggled.

We were about three hours into the twelve hours flight. There was a flight attendant coming down the aisle with snacks and drinks. I turned to Mia who seemed to be getting a bit peckish.

"Mia, do you want anything to drink?" I asked. She nodded her head. I pulled my purse out of my pocket as the woman reached us.

"Would you like anything to eat or drink?" I nodded.

"Can I have a bottle of apple juice, two bottles of water and two ham sandwiches, please?" She nodded and handed me what I asked for. I payed and passed the apple juice to Mia. I also handed her a sandwich and kept the other for myself.

"Thank you Miss. Y/N." I nodded.

"No problem kid. You said you like Makka Pakka, right?" She nodded.

"Mhm! He's my favouritest ever!" She spread her arms out and I swear she reminded me so much of Tyler.

"Well, what if I drew him for you?" She looked at me and o swear there were actual stars in her eyes.

"Can you?! Oh yes please!" She bounced eagerly in her seat. I laughed and ruffles her hair. I grabbed my pencil and sketchbook and began to rough an outline of him. Mia watched me intently.

I quickly finished and outlined the drawing, pulling it out of my book. I gave it to her and she looked at it in wonder.

"Woah! Can you teach me how to draw?" She asked. I nodded and handed her the pencil.

"What do you want to draw?" I asked. She thought for a moment.

"I like cats! Can you show me how to draw one?" She asked. I nodded and took the pencil back.
