It was getting late, the sun can be seen setting down on the horizon and street lights were turned on. At Stacey's place, Emma and Jenni came by just in time to help her pick out the perfect date night outfit.

"Now you don't want to look too desperate to get in bed with the guy," Jenni says patting down the shoulders of the dress.

"But you should also show off a bit in a classy but sexy way," Emma added, picking out the perfect necklace for Stacey to wear.

"Thank you guys so much!" Stacey was forming a group hug, "I've never been so nervous in my life and you know how bad I am when it comes to choosing the right outfit for dates."

"We know." They both replied and exchanged looks.

Stacey was dressed in a black laced off-shoulder dress complemented by a clutch and the necklace Emma chose.

"Are you sure this is appropriate? What if it's too formal?" Stacey looked at herself in the mirror posing a bit

"Are you sure this is appropriate? What if it's too formal?" Stacey looked at herself in the mirror posing a bit.

"Did he say where he's taking you?" Emma asked after finished doing Stacey's hair.

"No, unfortunately, he said it's a surprise and that he'll pick me up," Stacey replied and took a look at the clock on the wall.

"Where does he live?" Jenni questioned, she was playing with bobby pins on the dresser.

"Pretty close, across the street and a few houses down," Stacey mentioned how they walked back home together without realizing how close they lived apart from each other.

"Do you think he's living with his sister?" Emma asked.

"Probably." Stacey answered, "Where else? Isn't this his hometown?"

"I don't know, their parents are barely in the city." Emma recalled, "I just don't ever remember seeing Nicholas back when he attended our school."

"I still can't believe that's her brother. I mean she is such a -" Jenni got a bit heated up, she rolled her fist and let out some fume.

"We know, we know." Emma patted Jenni's back. "She wasn't like she used to be back in freshman year."

"I guess Nicholas was right, she is kind of a 'loner'." Stacey air quoted.

"But it's not her fault...everyone is so judgemental here." Jenni called out, "I don't blame the girl for doing what she had to do but she nearly ruined your reputation as well."

"I guess being in the public eye puts a lot of pressure." Stacey reflected, she wondered if they could've done something to prevent it all from happening.

"Oh! Is that Nicholas pulling up the front?" Emma was peeking through the bedroom window behind the curtains.

"Come on, we got to pick out the perfect shoes quick." Jenni scurried to the shoe section.

Not a minute passed by, a ringing sound of the doorbell echoed through the house. The girls got out of the room excitedly like teenagers and went down the steps to answer the door. Emma and Jenni stood by Stacey to observe as she opened the door. To their surprise, they did not expect an unknown young man standing at the front door.
