One Call

If your end arrives,
And your words start to fall,
Who's the only person
You'd want to call?

When you feel too weak,
On your last breath of air,
Who's the only person
You'd wish would care?

Your mother or father,
A daughter or son,
Before your heart gives out
Who'd be the one?

Would it be a stranger?
Afraid it would hurt
The ones that you love most,
So you'll divert.

Or would you tell a soul?
Say nothing at all?
Secrets trapped in your throat.
Would you even call?

I'm not in your shoes,
I dont know your choice,
But if you rang me up,
I'll be your voice.
