I've known you since forever
I thought you'd always stay
Don't feel like we're together
We've drifted far away
You say I have to follow
Believe all your morals
They only carve me hollow
From all of our quarrels
I wish you wouldn't ever
See who I have become
Because I know you'd never
Believe I'm more than scum
You bash the other lovers
The ones who love like me
So I hide behind covers
Til the day I can flee
You scream til you turn scarlet
At every little thing
My eyes and cheeks are starlit
From all the hate you bring
Know you're not always like this
There's some good left in you
When you're kind life is full bliss
Til anger starts to spew
We'll all have our own mistakes
Somethings we can't avoid
But when you fight my heart aches
Because your love seems void
Your promises to cherish
No matter who we'll be
I've known that they will perish
If I choose to be me
I wish for you to peer in
The looking glass and see
The one who keeps me locked in
And never lets me free
Don't you dare look away from
The windows to his soul
Don't even try to play dumb
And say that he looks whole
We both know that he's broken
Nothings as clear as this
But till you two have spoken
Your ignorance is bliss
