For the next 3 days I didn't sleep, I couldn't sleep and I knew this was going to happen from the moment I decided to lay in the bed with Stiles, I slung my legs over my bed deciding I wasn't sleeping tonight either and headed out the back towards the woods for a run shifting to my wolf as I went into the tree line, maybe I could tire myself out enough to sleep before he leaves for school, I just ran until I saw daylight sparking the sky and headed back to the house, Stiles eyed me as I walked into the kitchen still as a wolf "morning Der" he smiled Daisy was in her highchair gurgling away and it made me wonder how long I was actually running for

I went upstairs to my room shifting back and getting dressed "morning Sti" I mumbled in greeting and he gave me a slight concern look before smiling "ready for school

"I'd say yes but there's somethig concerning me" He questioned placing breakfast on the table, I frowned watching him "in the time we have been living together I have never seen you leave in the middle of the night and return in the morning, what is wrong with you?"

"You knew I left" I questioned raising an eyebrow "I thought you was sleeping" I mumbled eating the food he gave me

"That doesn't answer my question Derek" he states but sighs "are you ok?"

"I'm fine" I replied quickly avoiding his stare "you need to go soon"

"There is definitely something wrong" he huffed out next I didn't say anything and the table left an uneasy silence as we finished breakfast, he said goodbye to Daisy before grabbing his bag and leaving, ignoring me for the rest of the morning

"He's mad at me" I mumbled before picking Daisy out of her chair setting her in the living room as she played with her toys, I quickly cleaned up after breakfast and prepared dinner early before shifting into my wolf watching Daisy as she played, Tilting my head as her eyes would occasionally flash a fire orange and back again, she was coming up to having her first official shift it was only a matter of days before we'd have to try and get a kit to go back to her human form. It was a quiet day and felt pretty lonely, I wasn't use to feeling lonely, I know I'm usually alone but since I've had the pack, and Stiles, Specially Stiles I hadn't been alone, and maybe I'm just realising how lonely I have always been, I let a playful growl out to Daisy and she gives a cute little growl back, I grinned and playfully bowed to her as she grabbed at me before we both were crawling around the floor after one another, I managed to get Daisy down for her nap on her own and I cleaned up before searching for some of the stuff we had yet to get for the house, I rubbed my eyes looking towards the door as Stiles walks in and all he did was glance at me before heading upstairs, I sighed and waited for a moment before following up after him "Stiles" I said almost with a whine entering his room

He looked up at me with a frown "what do you want Derek, you practically beg me to move in with you to help with Daisy which I don't mind but you refuse to tell me what is wrong, what is so bad about me that you can't talk to me just get out until you let me in" I didn't get a chance to say anything else before he slammed the door in my face

I sighed "I just, nothings wrong Stiles I just couldn't sleep so I thought running would help..... Stiles"

"I don't believe you Derek" was all I heard before it went silent

I went to Daisy hearing her awake and I picked her up "papa is really mad at me Daisy, how should we cheer him up" She just giggled as I tickled her sides and carried her downstairs thinking about how I could cheer Stiles up
