When I got back down with Daisy I wondered around for a bit with her on my hip "I know" I said before putting on Daisy's jacket and little hat to hide her ears tucking her small fluffy tail away, she gurgled a complaint as I put the hat on her, I can't imagine it being comfortable for her. When I got out the naighbour was staring at me as I made my way down the path I got to the gate when I froze and turned to face them "excuse me, do you know where I can get some flowers from?" I asked trying my best not to frown or look intimidating which is kind of hard with a baby pulling on your beard again

The woman chuckled "not far actually, just a few blocks over, there is this lovely little corner store that sells roses, I'm sure they can help you out"

"Thanks" shifting Daisy to the other hip as I detach her hands heading to my car after getting the car seat from the jeep, soon pulling up to the little store, I had Daisy resting on my hip as I gazed at some of the flowers at the front "what do you think Daiz should we get, roses, Lilies or orchids?"

She just gurgled at me tugging at her hat on her head and I shook my head moving her hands away "can I help?"

I looked at the young woman and nodded "yeah can I get some Daisies and Lilies" frowning slightly not sure if that was a good mix, she chuckled and nodded before gathering some flowers up and wrapping them "I poked Daisies nose as I waiting and she giggled slapping both hands onto my face, soon I was handed a bunch of flowers so I payed and got a box of chocolates to

"It's not valentine's yet love" the lady next door remarked as we returned

I couldn't help the small blush and the stumble of words "it's umm it's more of an apologetic gift"

"Did you upset the young man" she chuckled and I nodded with a shrug "you have a beautiful daughter"

"Thank you" I mumbled before making my way inside quickly, I put Daisy on her playmat and got a vase for the flowers being surprised there was one thankfully, I then made some food checking on Daisy making sure she wasn't in trouble as she was starting to crawl a little but not much, when I finished I placed it all on the table "lets hope papa answers shell we" picking her up and heading up the stairs as I knock on the door "Sti"

Silence, complete Silence as I knocked again, Daisy then joined in slapping her hand on the door while I was knocking only I stopped as the door swung open and Daisy giggled "what do you want Derek" he glared folding his arms not looking at Daisy

"Me and Daisy would like to ask if you would join us for dinner" he looked surprised "I cooked your favourite, mac and cheese with a side of curly fries"

"You, the Derek hale who I have never seen set foot in a kitchen other then for coffee can cook" he looked at Daisy before taking her from me "fine I'll come but only because I miss my little fox" he booped her on her nose kissing her cheek "lets go be daddy's taste testers shell we" he screwed up his nose causing Daisy to giggle again, and I quietly followed him downstairs

He stopped at the kitchen door gaping at the table, before turning to look at me "you like it?" I questioned and he nooded before putting Daisy into her high chair

I pulled the chair out for him and he sat down with a grin "why thank you Mr. Hale, what's the occasion?" I rolled my eyes and sat opposite "well why did you do this" he said gesturing to the table before his eyes landed on the flowers "you even got flowers, I didn't think I'd ever fill that vase"

"The occasion would be because I'm sorry that I upset you, I just didn't know how to tell you why I can't sleep" I knew I looked nervous right now with my head down and not looking at Stiles "I do trust you Stiles I just haven't slept since we got here"

"Whats so bad that you can't tell me that you can't sleep, if its not because you don't trust me then what is it Derek because right now it really feels like you are pushing me away and I shouldn't have moved with you in the first place" he said irritation in his voice

It remained silent for a while after that and the tapping of Stiles feet and fingers clearly showed he wanted an answer "I can't sleep without you there"

"I'm right across the hall Derek that doesn't make sense, I'm always here" I glanced up to see the frown on his face

I sighed running my fingers through my hair "yes Stiles you are here, in this house but not there, not in my room with me, I can't sleep without you" i couldn't fully register Stiles response as he just smiled and started eating, and he smelt happy  but he didn't say anything about it
