*Daniel's perspective*

I waited by my car outside the hospital Lorraine worked in, anticipation rising throughout every inch of my body. I never thought I'd be nervous for what I was about to do, since it was the first time I'll be doing this. The bouquet of pink roses, one of her favourites stared back at me as I admired their beauty. The soft petals as her lips, had a few droplets covering them, their scent mesmerizing me.

"Hey!" Her voice distracted me from the flowers' beauty to hers which brought a smile on my face.

"Hey, these are for you." I gave her the bouquet and her face lit up with a slight tint of red on her soft cheeks.

"Thanks, they're adorable." She kissed my cheek and smiled.

"Lorraine, I...umm....." I trailed off as I inwardly smacked my mind for taking too long to find the right words. Her intent stare and pink glossy lips weren't helping either. I took a deep breathe, closing my eyes for a brief moment before they landed on the most beautiful woman I've ever met.

"What's wrong?" Her arched brows scrunched into a frown as she inched closer to me. I can do this, it's now or never. I've been dying to tell her this, and this is the moment. I sigh heavily before painting a grin on my face.

"Lorraine..." I took her small hand, molding with mine perfectly as if it was made just for me.

I can't believe I'm about to say what I never thought I'd tell a girl before. Hell, I've never even thought my life would spare me the honor of having a girl. Especially someone like Lorraine.

"I love you, Lorraine." I blurted out closing my eyes, waiting for her reaction. I didn't even realize my heartbeat had increased it's pace and it seemed as if it's just me and her in the entire world, the surroundings around me were muted. I felt her hand tighten around mine and I opened my eyes to see her just at a hair's length away.

"You were freaking out to tell me this?" She chuckled. I left a breath I didn't know I was holding and ruffled my hair, scratching the back of it.

"I...uh..." Before I could complete, she literally jumped on to me crashing her lips on mine. I smiled against her lips as they moved with hers and squeezed her tight against me.

"I love you too, Daniel." She whispered against my lips making me the happiest man alive. As soon as I heard the sweet words from her mouth, I held her up spinning around as she was giggling.

"We're at a public place." She mumbles as I set her down. "You could've at least let me dress up for this moment." She said fixing her white top above blue ripped jeans.

"Well, you look great in anything you wear." I told her honestly as we sat in my car.

"Where are we going?" She asked as we sped up.

"We're going on an official date as a couple. I booked tickets for a movie." I looked at her squealing in joy which made me chuckle. It makes my heart fill with immense delight when she's happy. And I wanted to keep it that way for the rest of our lives.

Four years later.

"How cool it would be if I was just a cabin away from you, or technically just a wall? We could have so much fun." Lorraine mumbled, her face buried in a magazine as I dressed up for office.

Four years of unconditional love, silly fights, few tantrums and here we are still together. I couldn't ask for more from the woman laying on my bed just in her undies drooling over a red carpet dress on the magazine page. As much closer as you get to know her, she very well knew to be practical and crazy at their places. She was mostly crazy just in front of me and that helped a lot to bring back the normalcy in my life.
