R: Huh? *Hearing the urgency in her voice he bolted upright, knocking the comforter off of him in the process* What's wrong Ma, are you okay? Is the baby okay?! *asked in a frantic worried voice*
M: *seeing the horrified look in his eyes, she laid a gentle hand on his shoulder to calm him down* Kalma lang Love, I just woke you to tell you I am hungry. *she said with a little smile*
R: *raises his eyebrows* Gutom ka? You woke me up at 2:30 in the morning to tell me na gutom ka?
M: Yes, of course I did!
R: Why?
M: Because you are going to go get me something to eat! *as she points her finger at him to emphasize the 'you'*
R: *lets out an exhausted sigh and swings his legs off the side of the bed* Okay, what are you and Thirdy craving for tonight? I'll check the kitchen. *as he rubs the sleep from his eyes*
M: Oh, we don't have what I want in the kitchen. *she says, shifting back under the covers to get more comfortable. At six months pregnant, M was getting bigger and spent more time trying to find a suitable position then she did actually sleeping*
R: Ha? What do you mean we don't have what you want in the kitchen? *sounding confused* Ano ba talaga yung gusto mo?
M: *flashes him a sweet little smile* I want a big mac from McDonald's, two big macs, with some peanut butter on it, Cookie's dapat ha, oh and extra pickles. At gusto ko ikaw mismo ang kukuha because you love me so much, also kasi ikaw may kasalanan nito! *as she gestures towards her swollen baby bump*
R: Ha, it takes two to tango Love.. *he says with a dry chuckle and pecked her lips* Ako talaga bibili? Di ba pwede delivery or pautos nalang?
M: Yes po ikaw talaga. Kasi I want one big mac from our store in Binan and the other big mac from our store in Bulacan. *She says with a matter of fact voice*
R: What?? Kabilaan yun! North and South! You really want me to go there now?!
M: Ay ayaw mo ba? *sounding hurt* Oh di sige ako nalang. Kahit nahihirapan na ko mag seat belt, di nalang ako maglalagay. Sige ako nalang, spare car keys are in the kitchen, right? Pasensya na anak ha, *rubs her baby bump and getting teary-eyed* tayo nalang dalawa. Si Mommy nalang ang kukuha para sa atin. *moves slowly to stand up from their bed*
R: *rubs his face as he silently chastises himself* Ma.. sorry na, sorry na. I didn't mean anything by it. Nagulat lang, please believe me. Sorry di ko yun sinasadya. *holds both M's hands and he tried to stop her from getting up*
M: Okay lang naman if you don't really want to do it. You don't need to pretend. Ako nalang. Matulog ka na. Alam ko naman pagod ka, sorry naistorbo ko pa yung tulog mo *hastily wipes away tears from her cheeks*
R: Ma naman.. sorry na talaga. *lifts M to sit on his lap and hugs her* Please don't cry.. *wipes her tears* You know it hurts me when I see you cry. Di ko yun sinasadya promise. Love, alam mong wala kang hiniling o hihilingin na di ko gagawin. I'll go through the ends of the earth and beyond for you and our baby. Sorry na.. *kisses M's cheeks*
