As the morning calm came, both boys sat up from their beds, let out a huge yawn, and stretched their muscles.
"Ahhhh! Good morning hyung!" Beomgyu said as he stretched out his arms above his head.
"Oh! Good morning to you too my love, did you have a good sleep?.." Yeonjun asked, just as giddy as the younger.
"Yeah, I did.."
"That's great! Hurry up and get changed, I wanna show you something.." Yeonjun said excitedly.
"Where are we going?.." Beomgyu asked curiously.
"You know that clearing we found? With the beautiful lake? Right after we went gardening?.."
"Oh! That place? I didn't get to see it properly though, it was way hidden behind the trees. And plus, it was raining that time too.."
"Well, it isn't raining now, is it?.. What do you say we have a picnic there? Near the lake?.."
"Oh! That'd be great hyung!..I'll go get changed!"
"Alright! I'll be in the kitchen preparing our snacks if you need me!" Yeonjun shouted at Beomgyu as the younger skipped his way towards the comfort room.
Yeonjun barged into the kitchen to grab the picnic basket and a blanket. Then he started preparing the snacks.
He had made everything the younger loves: blue buck cakes, kamut biscuits, and of course, collusa corn muffins.
By the time Yeonjun was finished preparing the snacks, he took a shower and changed into his outdoor clothes.
"Gyu! Where are you! It's time to go!" Yeonjun yelled.
"Coming!.." Beomgyu replied as he barged inside the living room, also in his outdoor clothes. And in his hands, is the fluffy purple blanket Yeonjun had won for him in the Amusement Park.
Yeonjun glanced at he the calendar before heading outside:
January 29, 2020.
Then, they finally set off into the woods, just right after the gardening dome was built. They walked through thick trees and dangling branches, stumbling on rocks along the way.
After what seemed like a month of walking, they arrived at a very beautiful and circular clearing. Within the clearing, were colorful flowers. Above it, were long tree roots baring leaves, forming some kind of a dome-shaped entrance. It looked like as if it were a pavilion.
"Wow! It's even more beautiful now that it's not raining anymore.. And look! There's the lake!." Exclaimed Beomgyu excitedly as he pointed deeper into the clearing. In between two large tress was a vast body of water, extending deeply further into the woods.
It's perfect for our picnic. Beomgyu had thought.
Yeonjun cooed at how cute the younger was being.
I'll definitely miss you Gyu, that's for sure..
He flattened the picnic blanket onto the damp grass near the lake and sat down, the younger following suit.
"I wanna come here everyday, it makes me forget about every problem I have and just focus on nature's wonderful resources; don't you reckon so too, hyung?.." Beomgyu asked the older as he looked at him.
"Yeah, it's wonderful indeed.."
Of course it's wonderful, that's also what you said when we first came here...three years ago.
Yeonjun unpacked all the delicious dishes from inside the basket, unwrapping the plastic wrap along with it.
"Oh my god, buck cakes!.. Hyung you made all my favorite dishes!...But, erm...w-what are these f-flowers for...?"
