"Stop it King your going to get it in my hair." We was painting Princess room over she wanted a Frozen theme. King wanted to hire someone but I told him we should just do it it would be fun.
"You started it." I laughed at him I wanted to have fun so I smeared a little bit of paint on his face.
"Wait you have some of your face." King said to me. He picked up a towel and came over to me to wipe my face off. These last couple of months has been hard to resist King.
"Thanks." I smiled at him while staring in his eyes he stared back in my eyes. We was giving each other and intense look I don't know what came over me but next thing you know my pressed my lips against Kings. At first we were just kissing and next thing you know we were tongue kissing. It was so passionate I just didn't want to stop.
"Mommy look." Princess interrupted us. I was so embarrassed I couldn't believe I had did that knowing that he has a girlfriend but it's really getting hard to resist him I'm just scared that I'm gonna mess up because I'm damaged.
"That's pretty go draw one for daddy." She ran back into her playroom to draw a picture.
"Sorry King I don't know what came over me." I walked out the room into my room my mind was all over the place. A few minutes later King came in my room and sat on the bed next to me.
"Don't be sorry I wanted to just as bad as you."
"Why you so patient with me I'm damaged as hell. I almost ruined your damn life. I almost got Princess hurt when Elijah came over that day to kill me. I'm just dumb and stupid and a battered fucking women." I was angry with myself I couldn't even shed no tears. King blew out a hard breath before speaking.
"I feel like a corny nigga but fuck it. I love you Nyla and no matter what I love you. No matter what you went through no matter what you did to me for some reason I love you and I can't stop." Hearing King say that really warmed my heart.
"King your to good for me."
"No I'm just right for you just like you are just right for me. Do you remember how we met?"
"Yeah how can I forget I felt so damn bad I was so embarrassed I couldn't believe I spilled that hot ass coffee on you."
"From that day I couldn't get you out my mind. I was so damn happy you gave me your number that one day. I couldn't wait to use it." I giggled.
"I'm sorry King I never said sorry for how I left I just wanted a new life and to forget everything Elijah put me through. It still messes with my head. You know Elijah was just like you when we first started dating. I was to damn blind to see the changes he was making. You know even his parents try to warn me but I was in love and I was young I thought he would change and get better but boy was I wrong. Even after everything I still gave him another chance even after he made me lose Isiah. I still gave him a chance till I finally realize I couldn't no more. I swear I wasn't expecting him to come over that night I had Princess. So the real reason why I'm scared to get in a relationship with you is because I'm scared your going to change like Elijah did."
"Nyla look at me I will never lay me hands on you ever. I am not Elijah I will never hurt you like he did never. I love you so much I love how great of a mother you are. I love the fact that my whole family loves you. We might argue sometimes and things may get rough but I will never do what he did to you. Your my everything you and Princess are the first thing I think about when I wake up. This is me this is the real me I'm not going to change. I know I'm seen as a bad guy because I'm this Drug lord but I'm not like that with you. You make me weak I've never begged a girl to be with me this bad. I've never been in love with someone so bad. I'm just asking for one more chance to show you." I didn't know what to say.
"I love you too King you have saved me from a life I couldn't get out of. But what if-" he cut me off.
"Fuck the what if. We love each other it gets no better than that.
"Well what happens with you and Cassie you are in a relationship with her."
"Nyla I was only with her because you wasn't ready."
"What if I'm ready King?"
"Then she gone Nyla I'll do anything for you." I was ready to finally be in love with King.
"Daddy look what I drew." Princess came barging in the room she loves showing us her masterpieces.
"Well you can hang it up when mommy and daddy done with your room okay." King said to her.
"Okay daddy." She ran back out the room her little hyper self.
"It's Prince birthday today and he having a party at his club. He asked me to see if you wanted to come I told him I don't know but I'll ask you."
"Um I don't know King plus who's going to watch Princess?"
"My mom is just come out you need to have fun. You need to let loose enjoy yourself for once girl."
"Okay okay I'll go." King smiled at me.
