"Kacchan s-stop it- h-h-e didnt do anything wrong" I cried, my fists trembling in front of my chest. The blonde snickered at my feeble demand. Sparks crackled in his palm. "What are you going to do? Fight me?" He shoved me back into Kyoske, "You're quirkless. What can you do?" I looked at the ground in shame. 'I wont be quirkless forever. I'll be like All Might one day!' My breathing became heavy. I watched as Kacchan and his friend walked off, laughing as they did.
I'm not useless anymore. I looked down at Uraraka, gently setting her on the ground. "Sorry.." I whispered as I ran back into the building. I put my mask over my nose and mouth before continuing further down the hallway. I began racing up the stairs, the smoke getting heavier as I went. Before i could reach the end of the staircase my chest became heavy with the feeling of smoke. I had to reach the top of the building. I fell down to my knees and began crawling up the stairs. I heard a clang from the next floor up. I felt my eyes begin tearing up as i made it to the second floor, the grey smoke fluttering around me.
"HELLO? KACCHAN-" I broke into a coughing fit, tears of pain ran down my cheeks. "MIDORIYA-SAN?" I looked up in alarm- Iida.. I almost forgot he was still in the building. "IIDA-SAN! I'M BY THE STAIRCASE!" I screamed, straining my voice once more. "I CANT-" a horrible cough rang through the hallway, "I CANT MOVE" Iida sounded like he was crying out of pain. I got up and began running to the end of the hallway, and i got closer to the window at the end I saw the bluenette hunched over on the ground, wheezing from the lack of air. "Midoryia-San? Is that you..?" "I looked down apon him. He looked so helpless.. like a puppy who lost his mother. "Iida-San.. I'm so sorry.." I grabbed his arms and made my best attempt to drag him down to the stairs. "Wh-.. never mind" i decided it would be better to ask him later.
