Ok so I've had this idea in my head for a long time but I've never acted on it but I really like it so yeah.... 👉👈 it's inspired by this song which is one of my absolute favourites! ☝☝☝
I can see this story either being a slow burn romance or a platonic thing of friendship but either way I think it would be a cute story.
So basically the story is about a Prince and a Pirate.
The prince is the youngest son of two who constantly lives under his brother's shadow and secretly longs for adventure outside of his kingdom (he also loves sword fight and is very good at it) but his parents have plans to marry him off to some princess to gain more political power.

Where as for the pirate, who spends his days adventuring, sailing and stealing from the rich. Although he loves his carefree lifestyle; he feels lonely and feels like he has no one he can really to lean on or trust to stick around with long enough to develop deep relationships with.

How did the meet you may ask.
Well... I was thinking on the day of William's (the prince's) engagement party Sorin (the pirate) and his crew break into the palace to rob the place and in the mist of the chaos the two meet. The two of them soon engage in an intense sword battle, Sorin (the pirate) being immensely impressed that a royal could keep up with his sword fighting skills and William (the prince) had never felt so excited and full of adrenaline, feeling like this was the most excitement he's had in his life.
After exchanging a bit of playful banter between the two males as they fought, the duel sadly ended when a few royal guards tackle Sorin (the pirate) and arrest him, much to William's (the prince's) dismay.
After the whole ordeal had calmed down, Sorin was sent to the dungeon and William went back to he chambers, both male's couldn't help but think about the encounter with one another. Sorin (the pirate) saw potential in the prince to be a great business partner, especially with his sword skills while William (the prince) couldn't help but think of how amazingly exciting that duel was with the pirate, but knowing he could never be like Sorin (the pirate) with his royal birthright weighing him down along with the expectations of his family.
After a couple of hours Sorin (the pirate) decided to go see the prince again, he picked the lock of his cell and snuck around the castle until he eventually found William's (the prince's) chambers. William was at first shocked, seeing the pirate again but before he could reach for his sword, Sorin (the pirate) reassured him that he wasn't here to fight but to offer him a deal.
(this is were the song comes into play)
Sorin (the pirate) tries to convince William (the prince) to run away with him and join his crew but Will (the prince) is in denial saying he was happy and had no reason to run away from the royal life but Sorin (the pirate) could see right through his lies, knowing the prince wanted to leave his kingdom even more badly then Sorin (the pirate) wanted him to join his crew. After a few more convincing words, Will (the prince) finally caves in and accepts the deal of being partners with Sorin (the pirate) and runs off with him.
