I actually didn't know this mode existed until a couple of months ago, mostly because I avoid Aether Raids like a vampire avoids the sun.
Frankly, I never liked that mode and trying to get lift in the later stages is just stupid hard.
But the Aether Resort is absolutely wonderful. It's so darn adorable and it's quite fun to watch the heroes get into shenanigans. I have so many screenshots on my phone of characters just doing stuff and it is wonderful.
