Revenge

Chapter 1- Piper

     Piper had been struggling lately, after getting into a fight with Annabeth over what they should do for the summer, she had closed herself up. Of course, it wasn't actually deciding what to do, but the fact that Annabeth had called her an egocentric b*tch on top of other not so nice things. Piper hadn't been the nicest either, but at least she didn't lose her cool.

     What made her even more upset, is that Annabeth never seeked her out to apologize, or any of the other 7 to comfort her. She felt betrayed, like she wasn't good enough for her friends. They knew about the fight, so she guessed that they were all against her.

"Guess saving their lives and almost dying together did nothing" she thought.

Not even Jason, her BOYFRIEND, had come to cheer her up after a week, so when Aphrodite appeared, she was willing to take revenge. This time, she had chocolate brown eyes, tan skin and wavy brown hair, resembling some sort of Latina beauty.

"My dear Piper!" she exclaimed, "Don't listen to that foolish girl, she may have brains, but you are way more beautiful!"

Piper scoffed, still surprised at her mother's ignorance towards the insult.

"What are you doing here mother?" she asked, already getting up and ready to leave. She didn't want to deal with her mother critizicing her on top of everything that had happened.

"To help you of course! Have you thought about the kind of revenge you are going to take?"

At this, Piper frowned, thinking about how she needed more quality time with Aphrodite. She expected her to not know small details about her, but did she really expect her to take revenge?

    As she pushed past her, Piper thought more about the offer, and considered it to be a decent idea.
No... NO, it was wrong. She needed to be the bigger person here, and prove to Annabeth that she wasn't all those things she had yelled at her. But... revenge would make her feel better. What if-

"Honey, I said I need to go now, it was nice seeing you." said her mother in a tone that made it sound like it wasn't actually nice. "Oh and by the way, you should workout more if you're gonna want Perseus to notice you."

Aphrodite vanished, and it took Piper a minute to realize what her mother was implying.
