One week has passed since my little adventure in the mansion. Every morning I come here, do my job and then I go home. Mr. Anthony hasn't talked to me since then. Well, he tried but every time I ignored him so he finally gave up.

Every morning when I bring him breakfast we make eye contact and the tension between us grows but I ignore it. Things have changed, he is now taken and I am not a relationship breaker. What happened between us, whatever it was, it will never happen again.

I wash the dishes that Veronica left for me when the kitchen door suddenly opens. My head snaps in that direction and my eyes land on Justin and his two friends that I never heard the name of. I quickly turn around and continue to do my job, hoping that they are going to leave me alone and mind their own business.

I anxiously tap my foot on the floor and keep my head down, trying to hide my scared state with my hair and now I'm thankful that I missed my hairdresser appointment two days ago because my hair is reaching under my ears and it is covering my trembling lips and blush.

Justin is a bad guy, no matter how much our childhoods relate, he is a bad person and I'm trying to avoid him as much as I can. Eight days ago he started to call me names again and became violent. Not just with me, with Forrest too and I feel like this has been going on even before I came here.

I jump when I suddenly feel a tight grip on my upper arm and nails digging into my skin. With harsh movements, Justin turns me around so we are face to face and his little buddies on either side of him. He is looking down at me, smirking. I try to move and get away from him but he grips me by my shoulders and pushes me against the kitchen counter, his arms caging me.

"But why leave, hm? The fun is only starting. Aren't you excited?" He mocks and I wince at his fake-friendly tone.

"What do you want, Justin?" I ask him, trying to seem bored and unfrightened but my shaking form says otherwise.

"What I want? Well, I'm bored so I decided to make you a quick visit. I missed you." He responds, clearly mocking me.

"Cut the bullshit. Just say your insults and get it over with." I snap but he only laughs.

"You're really funny, cigarette. I like it." Justin says and brings a hand up to run it through his dark hair. I analyze his face and notice a cut on his lips and a small wound on his straight nose. His sharp jawline is cut from his ear down to his chin. Looks like someone got into trouble.

"What happened to your face?" I ask, trying to changed the subject and maybe buy myself some time. Maybe Veronica or Forrest will come and get me out of this mess.

"What happened to your throat?" He responds and I instantly bring my hand to my throat to feel the bruises. A few days ago my father got a bit too drunk and mistaken me for one of his enemies in the morning. The firs second I stepped into his room a hand grabbed me by my throat and threw me on the ground.

He kept chanting 'motherfucker I don't have you money so I'm gonna kill you' but then I slapped him and he realized he almost killed his own son. You may think it was traumatic or abusive but honestly, it was the funniest thing that happened to me in a while. George and I laughed about it for a good half an hour.

"I asked first," I say, narrowing my eyes but Justin doesn't seem to back down.

"Really? Now you're pulling an 'I asked first'? What are we in? Kindergarten?"

"Well, it certainly looks like it since you're bullying people who didn't do anything to you."

Justin scoffs in my face and grips my arms, making me whine but then the kitchen door suddenly opens. I sigh in relief and look at my knight in shining armor that's standing in the doorway. Derek. He analyzes the situation with a confused face as I mouth 'Help'.
