It's been a month after that incident. It's been a month since she has become my best friend.

“Do you cry often , Nathan?”

I was surprised with her question, maybe because… it's not really appropriate? I don't know why , but naturally , I answered it.

“Nope.”

“When do you cry?”

“When… there's a funeral?”

I laughed with what I said. But she , she just smiled silently so I had to stop laughing. I noticed she wanted to say something.

“Why would you cry for somebody who has passed away already? You should cry for somebody who's still there or who's nearly parting away with you.

It's better to cry for somebody while they still have the chance to know that you're crying for them, unlike when you would cry for them when they

no longer have the chance to see how important they were to you.”

I just can't forget every word that she has said. I wrote that in my hand in order for me to remember. When I got home , I wrote that again in a

sticky note.I don't know but… I think I could use that someday.

I could talk to her more often than usual. When I get home from school, she's the first person I would talk to. Yes , I'm always the one narrating

stories. But , it doesn't matter. My day isn't complete when I don't talk to her. Even if she doesn't tell me even just the smallest detail in her

life... even if she's got her headphones on, it's okay with me.

It's my fault I learned something she's been hiding from other people because I took the only thing where she hides all her secrets.

I gave back her diary after the day she cried on me.

Up until now , I still can't forget the words she told me that night. It's like , I've grown wings. Something like that. I just can't explain.

I looked at her again. But I noticed something unusual with her today.
