Chapter 40

"pancakes for tea!" Olivia grinned shouting loudly as she walked through the door, Sally ran up to her giggling and helping, she'd been hugging Olivia constantly

she squealed loudly with excitement at the mention of pancakes.

"I need to see Slender about Smiles little friend" Jeff murmered

"is there something your not telling me Jeff?" she turned to him confused narrowing her eyes trying to figure it out

"No Olivia." he grumbled, walking off, something Olivia grew used too

Sally tugged on her shirt

"He's Lying Olivia..." she whispered softly

"well then, let's go find out what him and Slender are up to then."

Sally grinned nodding whilst holding Olivia's hand as they creeped down stairs into the hospital there she saw a black chair in the middle of the room, a man tied down to it and a pool of blood surrounding the floor beneath him

Jeff growled loudly "Where's Jane?!"

Slender man stood on one side and Jeff stood on the other of the chair, the man smirked spitting blood on the ground

"How should I know?" he murmered, his cocky voice building anger in jeff as he clenched his fists

Sally and Olivia stared in Horror, the man, It was Brandon, all bruised and cut up, Olivia cried out softly as slender and Jeff turned around quickly, Jeffs clothes splattered with blood.

"Olive!" Jeff shouted, but not in time before Olivia dropped sallys hand and ran out of that tortuous place sobbing softly, she made it to Jeff's room as she wrestled into the bathroom locking the door, she heard footsteps  and a knocking at the door.

She wasn't exactly sure why she had ran out, out of fear and anger mainly? she screamed softly into her hands

"Olivia..." It was Ben's voice

"Uh...hey Ben what's up?" she sniffed gently wiping her cheeks

"Your crying Olive, you've only been here two days what's wrong?"

"It's nothing, I thought Brandon was dead, this sounds awful but it gave me a peace of mind, because he tried to kill me"

"Olivia come out, it's only me"

She unlocked the door opening it, walking out wiping her eyes, Ben hugged her softly

"I'm sorry you didn't know, at least you do now...Smile dragged him here all the way from Graces house, you have every right to be mad at Jeff though"

"How is Grace?!" Olivia held Ben's hands worried

"Shes fine, living with her dad in an apartment"

"that's a relief..." she sighed sitting on the bed

"Someone wants to see you..." Ben disappeared as Jeff walked through the door, Olivia gritted her teeth annoyed

"...Olivia, I'm sorry I didn't tell you, Slenderman thought it would be better if you never found out"

"What is Jane to you?" She growled gently

"A bitch who tried to take my life countless times. "

"Hm, looks like you must have cared to keep HIM alive!" She shouted standing up walking to the door, she was done with Jeff and his lies.

"Olivia..." he shut the door, pressing his hands against the door, their faces closer than usual

"Don't leave. " His eyes were hurt, his lost soul in pain, he stared at her, at her lips as they faces leant in.

"No." she breathed, Jeff frowned wiping her tears moving his head further from hers

"He'll be gone, soon enough, I'm sorry" he stroked his thumb against her cheek, she looked up at him

"why are you keeping me alive Jeff?"

"I don't know Olivia." he sighed honestly

"That's okay, it's dark I better go to sleep now" she shrugged, moving under his arms and stepping into the bathroom to get changed, before snuggling into bed, she wished she was in her own bed that night, she felt so lonely and isolated here and it only just hit her...
