*ANNASPOV*
We went and played putt putt (of course I won.) After that, we went and ate some food, trying to enjoy the last little bit of time we all had together. We drove Mia and Gabi to the airport and the ride home was...depressing. Ag held my hand tight. Tight enough that it felt like she wouldn't be able to leave. I could see the pain in her face the entire ride. It was like she was holding back tears, but I knew it wasn't for her, it was for me.
"I love you." I said softly. A tear rolled down her cheek when I did. I knew she was trying to hold it all together.
"I love you." She looked over at me and kept a smile on her face, like the tear hadn't even fallen.
"You spent so much time making sure I was okay. Making sure that my party went right. Making sure that I was having a good time. Bringing me breakfast every morning..." I shook my head. What had I done for her since she got here?
"Anna, don't do that. I do this stuff because I want to." She sighed.
"But you shouldn't have to. You don't have to stay strong and not cry or not be upset because of me. If I can cry on your shoulder-literally, you can cry on mine." I grabbed our hands with my other hand.
We parked the car at the house and she turned it off. She put her hand up to her eyes and covered them. I could hear her quietly sniffling, still trying to hide it from me.
"I'm gonna miss you." She started crying but, she was still trying to hold it in.
"I know. I'm gonna miss you." I pulled her in and I hugged her tight. "Listen, I love you so much. I'm gonna make today good, and tomorrow before you leave. It's my turn to help you." We squeezed each other so much tighter. She kissed me hard before letting go and I pulled her back in for another one. "I love you. So much it hurts."
"I love you, Anna." She closed her eyes and clenched her jaw. She was calming herself down.
We stepped out of the car and walked into the house, hand in hand.
"Go put something on to sweat in." I said as we stepped in my room.
"You weren't kidding about making sure I had a good time." She laughed. It was good to finally hear her laugh.
"Shut up." I gave her the finger.
We got dressed and I grabbed both a basketball and a soccer ball when we left. I drove us to the soccer field and Ag bragged about how much faster she was than me. Maybe she was, but I was definitely better at soccer. She put up a good fight but, I destroyed her anyway.
"Well let me show you how to play basketball then." She said in a breathy voice. I could tell she was worn out.
"Be careful, you're gonna need some of that energy for later." I winked.
"Oh, there's plenty where that came from." She bit her lip.
Of course she was right. She showed me up in basketball. To be far, she is 5'11 and towers over me. She wrapped her arms around me and spun me around. We laughed and it felt like we didn't have to think about any of the bad when this is what we had to look forward to when she did come back.
"I think we should go home." She kissed me hard. I knew what was on her mind.
"I don't know, I was thinking about another game." I pulled away and took my shot. I actually made it. "I was joking but that was good, maybe we should play another game."
"I don't think so." She laughed and kissed me again.
We got in the car and drove home. Her hand gripped my thigh and I felt butterflies. I wrapped around her arm. She slid her hand up and down my thigh and every time she did I was more and more turned on and she could tell. I watched her smirk as she chewed her gum. Like I said, just one of the small things she does that's so attractive.
We got back to the house and...well I'll leave that up to your imagination.
