He pressed onto the last option, hanging onto it as the usually calm code went into a bizarre craze. Gritting his teeth, Nightmare dragged a letter from each option, forming the name of the person he would be willing to live the rest of his life with-

"Nightmare! You're awake!" Dream cried, pressing his head into the fragile's chest. Shivers racked through the pair as both sobbed harder than usual. "Did you g-get the soulmate selection y-yet? I just got it... so that means you should have had it by now." Both eye sockets widened. This could only mean that someone had already choosen Dream. Nightmare clenched his fist, of course someone would have choosen Dream already-

"Uh Dream? I gotta go somewhere. Bye." Nightmare ran out of the house, barely letting Dream to grasp his words as the taller ran to the tree.
