< Majority of script and storyline credit goes to original creators. The dialogue isn't an exact copy of the original movie script, however, it's similar. Basic storyline credit goes to the original writers as well, it has however been altered quite drastically. I do not claim to own all the characters. A few of them are my own but the majority of them are the original creators! This is fanfiction! Thank you >

The breeze is still, it seems as if time as stopped. The old rotting wood of the docks trembles beneath the weight. Some people are still rushing down from the cliff side.

"Well. Aren't you going to save her then?" The man says with a tone of annoyance.

"Can't swim." The guards say, shaking their heads.

The man rolls his eyes and mutters under his breath just loud enough to be audible.

"Sailors. Pride of the Royal Navy, you two are." He says before handing them all of his effects with great irritation.

Rushing down frantically, as fast as your corset restricted ribs will allow you, you run down to the docks. Your breath is sharp, staggered and painful.

You eventually reach the end of the docks. Your father's panicked voice rings out through the stilled breeze.

"Y/n! Keep away from the water!"

It is then that you remember your peculiar rule; to stay away from the ocean. You have never understood why, and whenever you questioned it, it was shut down. You had never learnt to swim, granting you a useless as an aid to your sister. You stand, absorbed in fear and frustration at the water's edge, perched on the docks. You have never felt more helpless.

"Don't lose these." The man orders sternly, handing over his gun and belt to the two guards.

He dives into the water almost perfectly and quickly swims towards Elizabeth. Elizabeth is in full battle, struggling under the weight of her dress, eventually becoming submerged. The medallion around her neck glows in the sunlight sending a deep ripple through the seas.

The man finally reaches Elizabeth. He wraps a hand around her waist and swims to the surface. Elizabeth's eyes glaze to unconscious and it makes it hard for the man to swim. They are both pushed underwater.

It doesn't take a fool to realise that the fabric was too heavy. He rips it off and skins her out of it before readjusting his grip and swimming much more quickly to the docks.

The guards hoist her out of the water and lay her on her back. The man climbs out of the water too, clearly tired and defeated.

One of the guards kneels down and presses his cheek to Elizabeth's.

"She's not breathing." He says helplessly.

The man sighs and grabs the guards knife. Are they really this stupid?

"Move." He says pushing past them.

He kneels down and slits the corset down the middle. He rips it apart and dumps it on the docks in a wet pile. The guards watch in shock.
