It's great that I'm finally on with my upload schedule! I had a bit more time and had this ready by Saturday because my car broke down! So there is a pro! It's getting more interesting already and I'm excited to see the progression of your relationship with Jack. You also see a lot of your own interactions with Will here. Know that Will is a brother figure to you, your interactions are warm and friendly but not romantic so don't panic. Jack made that mistake in this chapter lol. ~ The Black Pearl ~

Elizabeth is brought upon the deck of The Black Pearl. The pirate holds Elizabeth's arm. Another one of the crew members looks confused.

"I didn't know we was bringing captives." He says worriedly with a distinct accent.

"She invoked the right of Parlay with Captain Barbossa." The pirate holding on to Elizabeth replies.

The other pirate's eyes go wide. Elizabeth breaks out of the pirate's grip and storms off to the main deck. They run after her. She sees Captain Barbossa.

"I am here to-," She says before being slapped clean across the face.

She winces out a breath. She gingerly touches a hand to her cheek, burning bright against her cold fingers.

"You'll speak when spoken to!"

Captain Barbossa looks serious. He grabs the pirates wrist tightly.

"You will not lay a hand on those under the protection of parlay!" He snaps.

"Aye, sir." The pirate guilty of slapping Elizabeth responds before baring his teeth at her and walking off.

"Apologies, Miss. What were you saying before you were so rudely interrupted?" Barbossa says politely.

"Captain Barbossa," she starts, "I have come to negotiate the cessation of hostilities shading Port Royal."

Barbossa is impressed.

"There was a lot of long words in there, Miss. We are nothing but humble pirates, you see. What is it that you want?"

Elizabeth thinks for a second.

"I want you to leave and never come back." She says shortly.

The pirates laugh.

"I'm afraid that I am disinclined to acquiesce your request...means no." He says.

"Very well," Elizabeth says with a huff as she walks over to the edge of the ship.

"I'll drop it." She says holding the medallion in her hand, hovering over the water.

"My holds are bursting with swag. That bit of shine matters to me, how?" He says.

"Because it's what you have been searching for. Eight years." She taunters.

(a/n: is "taunters" a word? no. Will I still be using it because it sounds right? yes. does it basically mean the same as tauntingly? more or less).

"Is it now?" He says interested.

"Fine." she says with a sigh, "if this is useless, no point in keeping it."
