You sighed, for what seemed like, the thousandth time as you paced around your room. It was a large fancy party, catered towards even fancier beings with the power to basically have a get-out-of-jail-free card right under some outrageously priced belt. You loved your older brother, but you didn't want to disappoint him. You ran a hand down your face, frustration and annoyance radiated off of you. A small ping brought your attention to your phone that sat on your bed as you were getting dressed.

(texts incoming!)

Wheeljack: Hey there sunshine, just checking up on ya to see how you're doing up there

(Y/n): Huh? Yeah I'm alright, just wanting to throw myself from my bedroom window, ya know?

You huffed a little as you sent your reply to the wrecker. You know hes been waiting for you for the past hour, and you felt bad. you walked over and plopped yourself down in front of your vanity, looking at yourself. You were cute, but its not like you'd dare even admit that to yourself. Hell no. Your thoughts  were stopped short by another soft ping.

Wheeljack: Well if ya do, and i prefer if ya didn't, i'd catch ya like those guys in the books you're always stuffing your face in. Not plannin' on loosing my sunshine any time soon

You smiled and shook your head at his words. He knew your reading habits and the types of genres you read. Wheeljack was the sweetest, in his own way. Primus, if he didn't make your heart race the way it always did when you saw him, you're sure you would scoff and send a snarky text back as a joke, but alas your heart has been captured by an other worldly being, rendering you flustered. Cheeks pink, you sent your reply as you picked out what you wanted to use to construct your face for the evening.

(Y/n): My my, aiming to steal my heart Jack?

Wheeljack: Steal? I'm no thief, but when it comes to you, i'd steal much more than that heart of yours~

You outwardly groaned and layed your head on the desk of your vanity, makeup brushes rolling and clinking against one another in the process. You could feel your stomach flutter. If he was going to be a flirt, then might as well dish it back, right? You didn't bother to reply just yet. Oh no, you were going to make him wait as you finished getting ready. Your usual shy demeanor was slowly giving way to a well hidden part of you. Flirty and confident. You quickly did up your (h/c) hair into a fitting (h/l) style. Your (E/c) eyes scanned your reflection with approval. Soon, you began to work on your face. Adding a coco powder brown to your eyelids, blending to give it a soft natural and smokey look. Winging your eyeliner and adding mascara, you smiled to yourself as it was coming together nicely. Your eyes looked innocently bigger, cute, but there was a challenging flame behind them. After adding highlighter to the desired places, and a flattering lipstick to match your (f/c) cocktail dress, you held yourself up high. You could admit, you looked good. Standing up and giving yourself a once over in the mirror, the dress gently hugging your curves in the most flattering way, hanging off your shoulders to expose more of your (s/t) skin. Slipping on your desired heels, you slid your phone from the vanity's desk and tapped open your camera. 'He better be
prepared for a fight, because I'm not going down without one.' you thought as you took a flattering picture of yourself, sending it to Wheeljack, who was just outside your house. Admittedly you immediately regretted it and felt a tidal wave of embarrassment wash over you, but you shook it off. You needed to be confident tonight, if not for your brother, then most definitely for yourself.
